It was in central Amsterdam, close to nice cafes and shopping. It also looks out to the Amstel canal. It did not say in the add that there was no lift, the stair case is very narrow and high, would not be good for an old couple. |

The location is fabulous. Imagine that you open the window and you see the boats on the Amstel river. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment was clean, all the appliances were functional. True value for money. Nothing at all to dislike. Those who complain about the steep stairs don't know anything about Amsterdam. |

What we liked was its location There were four flights of stairs to climb to get to the appartment. Inside the appartment you had to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping accommodation, and then crawl to the bed which was a mattress on the floor. In the bathroom the shower did not fit into the holder so therefore you had to hold the shower head to shower. To get into the bath to use the shower there was a wide wooden structure |

Location Not clean. Internet facility not available. Had to make several phone calls and wait outside the apartment for 90 minutes before we got he keys. |

Nothing Everything...the furnishings were very poor quality, they did not even leave toilet paper, and the apartment was up a very narrow dangerous alley. I could go on. |

We walked up the gloriously European steep spiral stairs and our jaws dropped when we entered. Why live in a hotel when you can have a full apartment for only a little more! We ended up saving money by being able to store our food and cook there (with the included sandwich cooker) to take in meals at the apartment or while we were out. This was a wonderful place! Thanks Eva! Checking in was very informal and confusing. Of course we were renting an apartment, not a hotel but Eva came 2 days later to take our payment and then just by dropping by. This was in no way a major problem and only led to a little confusion. |

This is my second time staying with Eva. She is a great host. The apartment was clean and water was hot. This Apartment is without a doubt the best place to stay as far as location is concerned, everything is within ten minutes walk. Everything. Also if you have been to Amsterdam before you know it is not very easy to find a room with private bath for budget price. This is the best option for Amsterdam. The stairs are steep, like a lot of places in Europe. The traffic in the street below is loud-but all are tolerable. |

Das Appartement liegt sehr im Zentrum und daher ist man nicht auf öffentlichen Verkehr angewiesen. Grundausstattung war vorhanden. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, vor der Tür hatte es 4 Abfallsäcke, welche erst am 3. Tag entfernt wurden. |

centraal gelegen prijs/kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Had hotel ook verwittigd van late aankomst. Tot drie a vier keer, alleen voice-mail gekregen. Pas na telefonisch contact met booking.com en nog mer telefoontjes zijn we in het app. binnengeraakt. |
