I can highly recommend the area,it just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam but close enough to join in should you wish.only 10 minute walk from the train station.the room we stayed in was compact but comfy with all facilities you would need. the lack of a bar to relax in.

This was our second stay at Falcon plaza. I will probably stay there every time I visit Amsterdam. The location is ok and has a nice big supermarket close by. Takes 5-10 mins to walk to my favourite coffee shop. The place is clean and tidy with a nice big LCD TV. There is a good choice of breakfast and it's open til 10am which is good. Still, you have to be quick as the ladies who run the kitchen will have the entire buffet packed away at 10am sharp!

Clean and modern room, , huge lcd tv in room, helpful staff, relatively close to Central Station yet far away from the bustle and hustle of rld. Two twin beds instead of one double placed together; beds were sliding apart while sleeping.

Not too far from the city center. Don't trust any discount on this hotel! Not even the discounted price was worth! At the hotel side there is a rotten bulding. The bathroom was dirty and the beds really unconfortable. Not recomended at all!

It's location was great. The rooms were small but comfortable for us. Price was ok too. Very quiet and calm. Communication between staff could be better as we had a slight problem and saw many different people on the desk.

We booked for five nights but left after the first night due to issues below, see next box. Lack of any air con. Rooms too small (we had a triple room). Water in bathroom sink would get congested and not clear quickly enough. Bathroom/toilet too small to move around in. Room too cold, was given a fan heater which seemed odd. Thus for the money did not seem value to us.

Staffs were too friendly and helped us with every problem we faced to. Old building old rooms, our room was on the 1st floor, it was too dark. A very normal breakfast with a high price.

Probably one of the best costs versus service provided found in Amsterdam. It´s close to the train station and friendly staff. Even if you ask for a double bed room, they´ll put two single beds together - but that seems to be quite common all over europe. There´s no air cond.in the room, no free internet and the location is ok. Considering that Amsterdam is such a small town, I would stay somewhere closer to the touristic attractions in the city next time, but overrall, this is a good hotel to stay - would recommend.
