Staff was trying to do good, but this hotel has too many quirks. Maybe they will fix the problems. The view from the room was ok, but could not take pictures because of weird dots outside. The bar was OK, nice selection. The room was nice, except for the shower.
The bed was horrible. It was so soft, both of us had back-problems the next day. No support. We had to take of the upper mattressed, put them on the ground, and try to sleep. The shower is awkward. Transparent shower, to small for big people (we are both women of 1m90+) and it is just too darn uncomfortable to shower. Wifi was almost non-existent. Breakfast was nothing special.
Hotel has a lovely theme. Quality of furnishing and layout very high standard.
Hotel too far from main attractions was able to get transport from metro/train station but hotel only offered to assist before eleven at an agreed time. Also asked staff re approx taxi rates and was advised double costs! Would describe staff as efficient but not over friendly. Cleaning staff knocked on door twice before 10.00 am to clean room on day of departure.
Bar, resteraunt, roof top smoking area. Space age style and view of Amsterdam. Easy access to main roads 24/7 McDonalds 10 mins walk away when bar/coffee shop is closed (Burger King directly opposite)
Airport taxis that pretend not to know where it is and take you on a 80Eu detour before they suddenly remember ... take the train to Holendrecht and phone the hotel for the shuttle or book/take the hotel transfer minibus at Hall 3 Schipol/hotel reception instead.
All the Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant food was excellent.
The transparent circular shower in the middle of the room was a little awkward as I was sharing with my sister.
Very quiet location away from city centre but city was accessible via shuttle bus and metro in 20 mins. Beds were the comfiest I've ever slept in and reception staff were extremely helpful at all times.
Shower and sink leaked in the bedroom. Restaurant was over priced for portion size and the service was slow. Lighting in the room was quite poor and no windows could be opened in the room.
Staff were lovely, couldnt be more helpful if they tried. The food was amazing, great cocktails. Room was modern and very clean. Overall we had a brilliant time!
Comfortable luxury beautiful almost everything
Location not big problem but little bit.
Bar, girls and guys who works there
Location, too much "cold" hotel, quite, airport shuttle was late 30mints so bad, can't open window there's no fresh air, not cool
The Bar lounge didn't had Martini.
It's a new hotel not much to not like it's clean modern and hospitable
There's no pool or gym neither a sauna or steam room I came for a relaxing weekend and really would've liked any of the above plus final and I think most important is its really far from central and cabs are minimum 50euros back and fourth you can get in a train but then your in a foreign country traveling at night not advisable I think
Design of hotel Car park Breakfast buffet Shuttle to metro
Good design but not very practical sometimes
Immediately next to the highway, free parking, nice restaurant and bar with 360 degree view. Friendly personnel. Even got a free voucher for a drink because booked via booking.com...nice gesture... Good breakfast. Very comfortable beds. And of course the rain shower in the middle of the room...
Far from the city center if your planning to visit Amsterdam. Rather limited list of snacks for the small or quick hunger. Unpractical sink in the "bathroom".
Matras can be improved the base was good but Matrad was small n floppy.
Shower is transparant cylinder in middle of the room which is ... special. Niclely modern in- and outside. 15 minutes walk to underground to city center
The facilities were reasonable. Shower was romantic in the middle of the room . Good English channels Reasonable customer service Bed comfortable and lovely shower Good relaxing arears Room clean
Staff were very arrogant and did not listen No bath for a lovely hotel Location was too far away from the city. Shuttle was not 24 hours given the distance to town Bed covers was too small as try were singles and as a couple this was very difficult. Stayed four nights and every night I asked for a bigger cover but nothing. Staff offered to move me then changes their mind claiming rooms were full. No mirror in bedroom for dressing Cracked window which was not safe No windows for a big room like that Room was cold Will not stay here again.
Generally the hotel was ok
Spiders on outside of windows which felt more like inside and entrance to hotel was very poorly situated
Close proximity to Amsterdam but slightly away from the main centre. Clean, modern and great value for money.
2 single beds pushed together do not make a double!
Design Amazing room Very clean
Everything is good on this hotel, but the location is not so central. Difficult to arrive without a car.
Modern, excellent view, clean and tidy.
They offered us a twin room instead of double room that we actually booked. Please dont forget to email them when booking the room on a mobile phone as you wont have the option to choose type of the bed on a mobile device. They agreed to give us a double room from second night.
Unique hotel, worth spending a night or two. Hotel is outside Amsterdam, but with good access to the city centre by car. Good quality for the price.
Not really a double bed, but two singles joint together
Location easy to reach, car park, nice restaurant (location, food), efficient WiFi, large room, design.
Rooms were clean and spacious
Location was further away from Amsterdam city centre than expected and the staff on both bar and reception were ignorant and continued their conversations whilst we were stood waiting for assistance
I liked the view and the way the implemented the explanation of π . Well done .. will stay there again ...
aehm pretty nothing ?!
- style (rooms are well designed)
- 1.3min walk to metro - far from city and enterntainment
The room is funny. Not sure if it is a bed in a bathroom or a shower in the bedroom. Good for a laugh and a one time experience. Room is good quality overall. Welcome drink in the top floor restaurant is a nice gesture.
We arrived 1 hour prior to the scheduled tme of 14:00 hrs and we were given a room at 3rd floor at the southside of the hotel with view on the A2 highway. At checkout the staff commented that they didnt understand why we were not given a high floor with view on Amsterdam. "Maybe you arrived very late and there were no more room?". No. Not at all. We were one hour early, had to wait for 1 hour and were almost number 1 to hand out a room so all available rooms were empty by that time. A missed opportunity Fletcher staff!. Besides, because of a stuppid nightdoor lock system without a instructions to un-set, we couldnt enter our room and we had to wait for 30 minutes in front of the room and prompt the reception desk staff 2 times to not forget us. Staff is too young and not experienced. For the same money we could have booked a similar hotel and room in the Amsterdam City Centre. A false start of my birthdayweekend.
