run by a chinese, this hotel gave us a small room. but luckily we could put our big luggage in the staff room thus allowing us to have a 'space' to stay more comfortably in the tiny room we booked. we were admired by the hard work of the guy at the reception but would like to suggest that he worked more 'silently' in the breakfast room so that he did not 'produce' too much noise while putting or preparing the dishes for the hotel guests. during the 3 night stay in Flipper Hotel, we would have been happier if we were given a special price for the extra bed as we were charged for 3 nights for the extra bed while in fact we got no extra bed on the first night. |

very nice staff and a very clean hotel every day we were ther we had a very good breakfast a good choice of foods the only thing that we did not feel comfortable with was the room was described small double room. i would think it was a single room and they put a double bed and there was not any room to get to the other side of the bed without scrambling across the bed you could not get to the other side without doing this .i would go back again but would not have room 18 |

The bathroom was really nice with and excellent shower and staff were helpful without being intrusive. The hairdryer in the bathroom did not work, beds were very uncomfortable with lumpy pillows and the floor under the beds and furniture didn't seem to have been swept in a very long time. |

Frankly speaking, I didn't like the Hotel at all! My friend and I stayed for 1 night from 4 which were booked only because we needed some time to find another hotel. It was dirty; there were holes from cigarettes in bed sheets. |

yes there was renovations at the hotel that started at 6 in the morning and lasted all day and was extremly noisey. the staff did not inform us when we booked or stayed at the hotel. also it was far from the centre of amsterdam and it is listed as being very central. the sweets in the vending machine were gone off. |

Connectivity to train stations and quite area Price they charged is too much as it is in Amstel and u need to pay 5 Euros everytime to come to city center and hence price should be less.Overall if get good rates then its OK hotel for 1 or 2 night stay. |

quiet location, nice neighbourhood, great bathroom the breakfast wasn't great, no real bread, the cheese was hard due to bad storage overnight; during our first beakfast there were constructionworks dirctly next-door, which could have been moved for two hours so that a nice breakfast be possible an one could sleep a little longer; the room itself was barely big enough for the bed; I was bitten by something my hole arm down, the next morning we... |

It was very confortable with nice staff, good room, excellent breakfast and very nice shower. Clean and quite. You have to correct the directions, because it is not near de Heineken fabric. I got lost because of following that indication |

I liked nothing (we had a good laugh though about the toasters on each breakfast table in the dining, its the place to be when you're into extreme toasting) The room had no window, there was a rooflight 12 feet up a funnel that you could open with a 9 foot long rod; the breakfast was extremely poor; the bed listed to two different sides ; it was impossible to open the toiletdoor fully because the bed was in the way, when sitting on the toilet I had to put my feet in the shower. |

Quiet place, good breakfast, but that's all. A VERY small single room. No toilet on ground floor (or well-hidden). Hotel blocks money on card for 1 month, it's incredible. If you would like a comfort - never stay in this hotel. |

Clean, warm. Good breakfast. 3 bed room with shower was directly off reception and was noisy during the night. Small room with very narrow beds but cheap @ less than 20 euro per person per night |
