Hotel não esta locaizado no centro, mais está em um otimo local, tranquilo e perto do trasporte publico. Os funcionarios poderiam ser mais atenciosos. |

Staff were friendly, let me use the printer for a train ticket i needed to print out. Small room, but I guess it was cheap and it said this on the website, so can't complain too much about it. |

Bathroom is very nice, modern and well equiped. Beds are comfortable. Staff hardly speaks Dutch. Hotel seems to be understaffed. We had to pay a surety (which was unannounced). Breakfast was moderate, not the healthy buffet which is mentioned in the description of the hotel. Most of the items was used up when we attended breakfast. Room was described 'small' but needs to be described very very small (only 4 or 5 square meters) for two adults. Rooms are not well isolated, conversation of the guests in the room next to ours could easily be overheard. |

nothing hotel flipper is at least 25 minutes from amsterdam central not 10 stated on the website, the bathroom and toilet were in a poor state and the windows in the room do not open and in turn become very stufffy |

The staff is friendly, the rooms and other facilities are clean, you can come in at any given time of the day or night, no smoking allowed (wich was a bit annoying) Could not smoke anywhere, had to go outside. The standard room is very very small but clean and comfortable. Once arrived on our location, we had to check in, seems I have to pay at the arrival (I tought I payed by Visa but it would seem that that amount is only frozen), so I get the amount I got from the site and it's at that time they start adding taxes to the price of the room. Apparently lots of guests have problems with this, even in understanding this. It didn't bother me to pay the extra money as we got a clean room for it but i'm sure for some ppl it is. This is not a good way of working in my opinion. All costs should be mentioned when the booking is done. |

Good enough, but not more then you'd expect for a hotel this cheap. "Hostel" would be a better name. The walls were too thin so you can hear everything that happens in the corridor and in other rooms. If somebody talks a bit louder, you will wake up. Breakfast was very, very poor. |

It was good enough considering it was so cheap... A fine bed and a great shower are all I need. The hotel is located rather close to the center (5mins by tram) but just far enough to forget about busy city life. 1: The breakfast was just not good enough. Just a couple of "cheap" products to choose from, like dry bread or orange juice mixed with lots of water. After one night I went to the supermarket to by my own bread. 2: Bring earplugs if you want to sleep here. If your neighbours take a shower or talk a bit louder, you'll wake up. 3. Some of the personnel were rather rude. |

It was quite quiet. The room was quite nice and the shower is new. However, the sink was super tiny. Its size is about one palm creating some difficulty of brushing teach or washing hands as it cannot fit 2 hands in. The evening staff who could speak English better than the day- time one was helpful by setting up an early Breakfast for us. (Please do not be surprise if you find Chinese staff. I believe the hotel is owned by a Chinese family) The hotel is further away from the Centrum. People with car must carefully look at the map as we were lost and it took forever to reach them. The Staff does not know how to direct us if come by car. The area of the hotel was situated in the neighbourhood that,on that particularday, someone got shot! Also, the sink was super tiny. Its size is about one palm creating some difficulty of brushing teach or washing hands as it cannot fit 2 hands in. No fridge, so no chance of buying something to eat/drink in the room. And oh! For someone that doesn's like stairs... Quite a lot of stairs if you plan to get high.. Not such an ideal place to come to after ur party time but overall, with the price I've paid it was quite ok. |

run by a chinese, this hotel gave us a small room. but luckily we could put our big luggage in the staff room thus allowing us to have a 'space' to stay more comfortably in the tiny room we booked. we were admired by the hard work of the guy at the reception but would like to suggest that he worked more 'silently' in the breakfast room so that he did not 'produce' too much noise while putting or preparing the dishes for the hotel guests. during the 3 night stay in Flipper Hotel, we would have been happier if we were given a special price for the extra bed as we were charged for 3 nights for the extra bed while in fact we got no extra bed on the first night. |

very nice staff and a very clean hotel every day we were ther we had a very good breakfast a good choice of foods the only thing that we did not feel comfortable with was the room was described small double room. i would think it was a single room and they put a double bed and there was not any room to get to the other side of the bed without scrambling across the bed you could not get to the other side without doing this .i would go back again but would not have room 18 |

The bathroom was really nice with and excellent shower and staff were helpful without being intrusive. The hairdryer in the bathroom did not work, beds were very uncomfortable with lumpy pillows and the floor under the beds and furniture didn't seem to have been swept in a very long time. |

Frankly speaking, I didn't like the Hotel at all! My friend and I stayed for 1 night from 4 which were booked only because we needed some time to find another hotel. It was dirty; there were holes from cigarettes in bed sheets. |

yes there was renovations at the hotel that started at 6 in the morning and lasted all day and was extremly noisey. the staff did not inform us when we booked or stayed at the hotel. also it was far from the centre of amsterdam and it is listed as being very central. the sweets in the vending machine were gone off. |
