I had a fantastic stay. Staff was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated. No charge at all for Wifi and coffee that is a great plus compared to all other hotels I stayed in. Goodluck with your hotel ! |

Staff v. friendly and helpful. Good location easy to get to. Now dutch have banned smoking inside bars, customers of bars across road spend lot of time outside on street so noise level in rooms facing street is high until about 3.00am |

Far too noisy outside - shouting and screaming in the street until 4:00 am one night, 5:00 am the next from outside a bar opposite. This was a shame because everything else was good. |

The staff were all really friendly, chatty and always willing to help. This gave the hotel a real character. I have stayed in other hotels in Amsterdam before but not had such friendly and professional service. Would definately recommend the hotel for single travellers like me. |

The hosts were quite hospitable and helping. The place was quiet although it is situated near one of the busiest crossings of Amsterdam. The rooms were clean, breakfast was complementary and was good. Overall a good experience. The room size was bit small and the stairs were very narrow & steep. One has to be very cautious while climbing up & specially down, otherwise one can easily fall. |

This is exactly the kind of hotel I look for when traveling. The staff was so friendly and I loved the location. I actually prefer these more casual and smaller places to the larger and fancier hotels I tend to stay at for work. I just love to relax and feel like I am at my own home. They definately make you feel at home. I found the internet access a little cumbersome... but I found that to be the case all over Amsterdam. I could rarely find a hotspot for my laptop or phone, which I use for work all the time. There was great connectivity at the hotel, but you have to repeatedly ask for 1 or 5 hour coupons to keep connected. I would love to see them just have an open wireless network with a password for guests. |
