The location in the center of Amsterdam is just perfect, staff were helpful & friendly, free internet, and the bed was very comfortable. For the price, the breakfast could have been better and the shower was not enclosed with doors so everything in the very small bathroom got a little wet. And the room facing the street was very noisy in the early mornings and very bright as the room needed blackout curtains. |

The friendliness of the staff, the more than expected in quantity/quality continental breakfast, the proximity to all of major interest city spots.,the value for money/service/accomodation provided.(Heating available at room regardless summer period-in the cool days),Shower and toilet in the single room I booked. Steep staircase-No elevator-Small room. 0.78x1.95 cm W.C.//but I knew it or expected to find from the reviews read before booking. |

It was a really nice hotel, with a great staff. It is in the center of the town, 10 minutes from the Amsterdam Centraal railway station, by tram. A basic room, with everything you need. We were given a triple room instead of a double one. In the bathroom of the room we stayed in there is no place to hang the towels or a shelf for the ordinary things you take with you (roll on, tooth paste, etc.). But I think that the kindness of the staff compensates. |

Very good home-like atmosphere, very friendly and ready to help stuff. Nice location - very convenient to walk around in all the most interesting directions. The room was close to reception and I could hear people speaking and walking, in general the room was full of hotel noises. There was two doors between my bedroom and corridor and both with almost zero sound protection - I would recomment to change or modify the door(s). |

Great staff - very friendly and helpful, always happy to tell you were can you find something you need and how to get there. I liked the location because it was easy to get pretty much everywhere from that place. My room was quite small but it was clean and there was aboslutely nothing to complain about. |

The hotel owner gave us a very warm welcome. She and the staff were most helpful in answering our questions about the city and making us comfortable. |

Location is perfect, close to the museum quarter. Very good tram connection with other parts of the city. All hotel spaces are arranged tastefully. They offered me the possibility of a sooner check in but when I came the room was not ready. There was a nasty smell in my room directly, no in the bathroom. I had big problems with my breath and couldnt stay in the room for a longer time. I apologise for my English. |

Considering the prices of hotels in Amsterdam, this was a great value. Clean, friendly and helpful staff (for the most part) and great beds. We stayed in two rooms during our stay, both in the back of the hotel, and hardly heard a thing other than some nearby construction in the morning. |

Staff was great, very relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. 2 minutes walk to Leidsplien main shopping area, 3 minutes walk to the tram, 15-20 minutes tram to Central Station Amsterdam. I stayed in single bed, shared bathroom. The shower is downstairs (where the room is) and the WC is upstairs. This creates s problem having privacy, but with the price, cannot really complain. Room was really small but for budget travel big rooms is not a requirement. |

The chilled and ambient atmosphere; warm and friendly, non judgemental unintrusive attitude of the staff; the size of the room; the balcony. it was a great base location wise and value for money with a nice breakfast and really, everything you need for an affordable city break - feels more like you are living in the city rather than staying in a big hotel with still a high level of cleanliness. non 'smokers' might find the bedroom smelling of smoke - but it wasn't unbearable at all.. |
