Location was the best! The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The least expensive room was comfortable The big black cat provided comfort!

I was in a room downstairs with toilet upstairs... not a big problem

The hotel is nice, with very polite and helpful staff, there is really nothing to complain about and it is great value for the money. My room was clean and warm breakfast were more than sufficient. Pleople at the reception were always helpful. Overall I would recommend

Breakfast was perfect. Staff was friendly.

They called us the day before our trip and gave us a single room instead of double (with our approval) and make 100€ increase to compensate this. We've approved it because we did not have any choice at that time. All other hotels were already occupied or with very high prices.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is great - just metres from Leidseplein. Air conditioning in room. I paid 240 euros for Monday to Friday - good value, but I would not want to pay any more for this hotel.

Dated decor - whole place could do with a splash of fresh paint. Room looked clean but, on closer inspection, some places had not been cleaned for some time. I stayed from Monday to Friday and bed linen & towels were not changed at all during my stay. Breakfast was a bit of a let-down - very nicely presented, but not much of it. I booked a double room with a double bed, but ended up in a triple room with 3 single beds. Very poor heating in my room - radiators only luke warm. And the strangest thing was that there were plenty of wooden coat hangers (and coat hangers can be quite rare in Amsterdam hotels!), but there was NO WARDROBE!! In fact, no hanging space at all - no clothes rail, no coat hooks, nothing. I had to hang things on the door handles.

Shared toilet on ground floor was a struggle to actually fit in, good luck trying to squeeze in. Odd smell downstairs. Decor abit dated

Room was very noisy since on street side with trams etc. Mattresses were too soft. Lighting poor. Walls not properly isolated hence noise from neighbours. Staircase was very steep and narrow and the only escape in the event of fire. A very basic accommodation.

Very convenient location to the near by major shopping area and the canals, major museums and sights. Easy going and friendly staff. Good value for money.

If travelling with child(ren) advise not to take the upper floors, as no elevator and steep stairs. If travelling with car, only public parking space at 36 eur/24 hours.

The location and I had a room with a balcony.

I wasn't aware the hotel gay friendly(no big deal) and my balcony had the big rainbow flag. Haha! Gotta love A'dam!

The staff was very friendly and cheerful.breakfast was very good and enough.

Best location. Good choose for value money for stay near Amsterdam Centrum. Managers of hotel was friendly and helpful.

Everybody was so nice and helping. The location of the hotel is perfect and there was a cute, fat cat =)

The rooms were really small but in most of the hotels in Amsterdam center they are the same. Soo it was ok.

I strongly don't recommend this Hotel to anyone! The room was so small that you can't even breath!! The stairs are too narrow and it's really dangerous to carry the luggage, since there is no elevator! I was on a business trip for three days and there was no closet for my two suits and my shirts! Shower gel & shampoo were not availiable! Photos of the room in the Booking.com are not reliable
