The price. I paid eur 35,- for one night and I got a double room.

The noisy, drunken hotelguest in the middle of the night. The staff luckily dealt with it in a firm way.

I stayed in this hotel because I have to take an exam in the University of Groningen which, strangely enough, was conducted on Sunday. I plan to stay with my partner. However, on the day, he was ill and unable to accompany me. The reception is open until 22.00 only. I came by train from Amsterdam and was late for about 30 minutes since I had to take care of my partner first. The lady who worked in the reception was calling me twice to confirm my arrival. Knowing my situation, she was waiting for me and provided good and friendly service, of which I appreciate the most. We booked a room for 2 persons but I got a room for 3 persons. It was a clean and large room, but the television is very old and didn't work. The building is quiet old but well maintained. Breakfast was served on time.

Shared bathroom and toilet made the stay less comfortable. I saw a queue of 3 people to use the bathroom in the morning.

not enough breakfast tables or staff to clean the tables as they became empty. dirty clothes from someone else under bed, pillow case not fresh. only two showers and two toilest per floor (per 6? rooms)

The was no anyone on the reception in the check-in time and the hotel was closed till 20 p.m. while we had arrived at 4 p.m. It was hard to choose what to eat during the breakfast. The better choice - just to drink tea or cofffee. A shower was terrible: there was no place to put dry things, common place was very narrow.

Great location, friendly desk clerk, nice old building (though not so well renovated). A price that's hard to beat.

There were stains all over the wall in our room, the shared bathrooms were pretty dirty (to be fair it is probably hard to keep them clean 24/7). It is a nice historic building, and I think it would be so easy to turn it into a lovely hotel with some renovation and redecorating.

Great location near centre of Groningen.

Bit scruffy around the edges and rooms were not en-suite though we knew this at the time of booking. All that said it was ideal for our needs and at a fair price.

I've been comfortable in this hotel. Very good ubiciación and the owner is a very kind person seeking to serve you the best we can.

If you don't mind to share the bath. It's a good choice to visit Groningen.

Prima budget hotel in hart van centrum Groningen. Prima ontbijt ook met leestafel en dagbladen.

Locatie in het centrum. Niet duur.

Bij wasbak alleen (een beetje) warm water, koude kraan werkte niet. Deursloten antiek en makkelijk te 'kraken'.

Uitstekend ontbijt, bedden waren goed en het was er schoon.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk! We waren zelfs iets te laat voor het ontbijt maar de werknemers kwamen alsnog een grote kan thee naar ons toe brengen. We mochten ook nog onze spullen de volgende dag in het hotel laten staan en aan het eind van de middag weer ophalen. De ligging van het hotel is helemaal een pluspunt!!

De douche werd continu koud en het was een erg kleine straal.

Erg gastvrij! De spullen mochten we de hele dag laten staan, er mocht gerookt worden op de kamers.
