All staff were very friendly and helpful; the location is very central (e.g. only a 6 minutes walk from central station and even less to De Dam) I think the cofort was quite basic, especially the room was very small. The surroundings are very picturesque on Warmoessstraat and loud late at night. |

It was nice having a bar downstairs in which you could have drinks and chat with the staff and locals. It was a shame that food or breakfast was not on offer at the time of our stay due to referbishment. |

new rooms, clean and even with television and a pub downstairs, comfortable and very friendly people and nice rooms with big windows way too loud in the morning (garbage disposal and street cleaning), the room was quiet small (but okay) but the stairs were more or less clerks and exhausting to climb up |

We thought right from the intial welcome from Matthew and his lovely bartender, up the steap ass stairs (hilarious adventure), and to our cozy, well layed out, modern room with a view of the station. The location kicks ass, the rooms are excellently priced, the beers downstairs are tasty, and the staff is courteous. Highly recommend. |

10 Minute walk from the Amsterdam Centraal Station, very central so a good location to use as a base. The staff were really friendly, chatty and happy to look after our bags before and after checking in/out. The room was clean, with fresh towels for us to use. The shower was nice with what appeared to be unlimited hot water! The "stairs" were a KILLER, more like a ladder actually - there were times I feared for my life when carrying my case up and down them! However, I will say stairs like these are quite typical in Holland. The room (No 16) was small and stuffy - and opening the window was not an option as there were extractor fan vents outside which made a racket! |

Location to everything. Suprised to have a view to a canal from our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Stairs are a little steep. If you´re a light sleeper then pack ear plugs. |

The location is very good, close to the city center and the railway station. The room was quite basic but all right. Good value for money. The hotel and the room also was a bit smelly and the staircase very narrow and steep. |

The staffs (manager, front desk & cleaners) were friendly to me and my wife.I even know and can remember their names :-) Room was promptly cleaned. The girl at the counter volunteered to help carry our heavy bags up the steep staircases (we did it together actually). That was a nice gesture indeed. :-) No.Everything was ok.I understand that space in Amsterdam city is a luxury so the steep staircases to the upper floors, room layout and interior are understandable.:-) |

The staff is very friendly (a brazilian member of the staff - Carolina - helped us in everything). The hotel is very well placed, in the center of Amsterdam, near everything. But attention, don`t ever think of going with a big luggage! There`s no lift (it`s common in the city) and the stairs seems to be a wall. But, I repeat: It`s Amsterdam; all buildings are this way. |

The hotel has an excellent location, the room is cozy and clean. The recepcionists were very friendly and attentive to us. You may have problems with noisy neighbors like ours. They triggered the fire alarm in the middle of the night, but the staff rapid showed up and took care of the situation. It was only a scare. |

It's close the the center of town, the suite was perfect and clean. Stuff was excellent and very helpfull. Coming back soon for shure. First stairs as you go up are very steep. They could establish a small elevator for luggages while very difficult to carry them to the room. |
