How close it was to the centre
The bar, no pool table, workmen wher working and plus they walked in on us getting changed after we kept the room on
The hotel itself is very central everything is within a 5 min walk staff were great and made to feel welcoming
Can't blame the owners as with most smaller loe key hotels in the city centre there are no lifts, and being on the top floor was a bit of a killer if I had brought big suit cases as they are very steep staircases so anyone bigger than average or have a heart condition been warned
Location is very good: five minutes from Central, three minutes to Red Lights :-)
Stairs are really difficult :))
Location being central
From we first arrived we were met at reception and the staff were very informative and friendly. The room had a great view up to the central station and the bed was very comfortable. The stairs were steep and quirky and if you've been to Amsterdam before most buildings are like that. Great value and central location :-)
Really good location and good value for money, staff were friendly and the bed was comfy
You could hear other people fairly loudly in other rooms or on the stairs, no hairdryer or iron in the room
i like how the room was set out very clean and quite a decent size room with a couch to chill on that came in good handy.. staff very friendly.. and location was perfect
too many stairs but good for a quick work out i suppose
Staff were very friendly and the bar is nice and clean with a pool table and it was nice and warm. The room was fine but very basic, needs some maintenance an repair but usable.
I'm not sure on health and safety rules in Amsterdam but the plug sockets were very sketchy and one was broken which made us reluctant to use it! The window did not shut properly, not ideal if you have any money or valuables you want to leave in the room. The bed was comfy (ish) but when booking a double room I did expect a double bed and not two singles! The price wasn't considering where it was situated however for the overall standard I do think it was slightly overpriced. We would stay here again but not in the same room. Improvements do need to be made.
Perfect location (30 seconds to BABA), perfect reception
Dangerous stairs (its really hard to climb when you are high) and little, not fixed, uncomfortable, single beds
With all the main attractions within a 5 minute walk you couldn't ask for a better location!
The shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot but according to the staff this problem was being fixed
On arrival staff were very friendly and welcoming, our check in wasn't until 2pm and as soon as the room had finished been cleaned we were handed our key this was just after 12pm. We had a double room this was clean, spacious with an lovely bathroom. I would definitely stay at Frisco Inn again and the location was perfect 10/10.
Location could not have been better, staff was very helpful and friendly.
High level of noise due to centrality of location, stairs are dangerous and would be inaccessible to a handicapped person.
Shower was a trickle
Rooms were clean and comfortable for the money. Staff good due to late booking could only get diuble room when wanted a twin - explained on arrival and managed to convert our room.
For advice staircase is very steep (not unusual in Amsterdam) however if have mobility issues then not good.
Location Helpful staff Value for money Clean
Stairs a little steep, but we got a laugh.
position is amazing, really close to centraal station and red light district
old and not useful furniture. No queen-size bad but only two single bad attached. The sun shine in room with all door and windows closed.
nice clean hotel spacious room (standard double) brill location
the mouse in the room, but found it quite funny after a\ll the weed haha
location only a short walk to all attractions
the staff and location
close to central station, clean and comfortable, well run, wifi works gr8
Very cosy and nice place on a quiet street just near the popular tourist route. Good value for money.
The location of the Inn.
The toilet in our room stinks. I have informed the lady in the reception and she gave me an air freshener. She cant move us to another room because there was none available. The only option she got is to give us an air freshener. I really want to check out on that night but I cant because I will be wasting 100€ for that nyt. They want us to pay the first night. Irregardless if we are staying or not. They have not even offered a discount on our stay. I felt bad as a customer because I didn't feel or see any sympathy from the staff. I wanted to speak to the manager but they wont let me. Her reason was, she doesn't know where he is. Anyways, lesson learned, if you will read negative reviews about some hotels, listen to the reviewer, they are not lying. They are just customers that felt ripped off of their money.
- Location is perfect. It is close to dam square, train station, red light district etc. - Staff is so friendly. We could leave our luggage at the hotel for more than 6 hours after the check-out.
-Check out time is too early. - Stairs !!
