The extensive breakfast facilities in our garden pavilion ensure that you can enjoy your morning meal. Meanwhile, you can admire the authentic rose and herb gardens. Together with the pastoral landscape, these add an extra touch to the already impressive grounds.

Three reception rooms in the former living quarters of the aristocratic family now feature a top-quality, à la carte restaurant. Each space is furnished in its own distinctive manner and in full harmony with the original painted walls and ceilings.

The comprehensive menu is oriented towards French cuisine. The notorious wines perfectly complement the dishes. On sunny days, the splendid patio is a great place to dine out.

Furthermore, the hotel also offers guests an exclusive bistro. Baron de Selys de Fanson was the Château St. Gerlach's last resident. It is his kitchen, dining room and reception room that have now been transformed into the cosy Bistrot de Liège.

The authentic paving stones, the antique stove and an original Liège-style pantry in the open kitchen are responsible for much of the Bistro's unique ambience. In this informal place you can enjoy a week menu, light dishes from the region or simply have a cup of coffee.

Six stylishly furnished rooms offer a marvellous setting for festive and business gatherings with a capacity of 5 to 300 guests. The hotel also has a wonderful lounge with an open fireplace, a cosy bar and a multifunctional conference room.

Throughout the hotel, characteristic furniture, beautiful antiques, Venetian hand-woven fabrics and multi-printed silks give the interiors an inspiring and rich ambience.

The Château St. Gerlach is located in the valley of the Geul River, less than 10 km away from the city centre of Maastricht. You can also explore the wonderful Limburg countryside with its many hills and visit the wildlife reserve Ingendael.
