Nice building, good breakfast, central location. Hotel room is basis and could do with with a make over. The beds could do with being udated also.

Comfortable rooms with friendly helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Excellent location for exploring Deventer on foot "Free Internet" is kpn which is good but limited in time and number of logins. If you mobile device is logging in and out to check email automatically this is a problem. As a general definition I would not expect "Free Internet" to be either time or logins restricted.

This hotel is in a good location needs major remodeling. Could be a gem if it wasn't so ignored. Very much a budget hotel. Would not stay again or recommend. I did like the one person who was the hotel staff. He went out of his way to help me.

The beautiful building and the delicious breakfast. The room was very small, especially the bathroom. Very tacky all round. A beautiful building with so much potential to become a 5 star hotel. Shame!

Very quiet. Helpful reception staff, quick to provide the two items of information requested. Historic building, with some original features retained so that it was visually characterful, while modern additions to the decor were tasteful. Very pleasant breakfast room. Central location in the old centre of Deventer.

The building is amazing, attractive decoration inside and outside. And they have free wifi in the lobby, and you can you a computer with internet in the lobby for free too. My room was quite clean. Good location, 10 mins walk from train station, right in the center of the town. When it was 10'C outside, it was very-very cold in the room.

The rooms looked great; modern, bit stylish and clean. Breakfast was good. And I especially liked the service of the hotel staff. We checked in after midnight and this was no problem. There was a very friendly and efficient night porter to let us in and even show us to our room.

The friendliness of the staff and the willing to please was second to none. We arrived after 10pm and the lady on reception was very accomodating with excellent communication skills and she even served us drinks in the bar, nothing was too much trouble. Magnificent decour aswell inside. Our room key did not work the front door when we came in quite late one night but the night porter came straight away and got us both into the hotel and our room.

Mooie locatie in een prachtig gebouw met een leuke binnentuin in het centrum van de stad Deventer. Vriendelijk personeel. Prima ontbijtbuffet. De kamer en badkamer zag er goed verzorgd uit.

Mooi hotel in gerenoveerd oud gebouw midden in de binnestad van Deventer. Moderne kamers met goede bedden. Ruim assortiment Nederlands ontbijt en ook spek + eieren aanwezig.Zeer aan te bevelen. De bar ruimte was een beetje kaal. Mijn kamer was op de boven verdieping en had een douche in een klein torentje, zonder enige gordijnen voor de ramen. Een beetje vreemd om bij de buren naar binnen te kunnen kijken als je doucht (en vice versa....).

Prima ontbijt. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Mooi locatie (oude pastorie). Rustig. Het hotel is veel te duur. Zeer sobere kamer. voor te veel geld. De kamer zou de helft moeten kosten. Twee aparte bedden, terwijl we geboekt hadden voor een dubbel bed. Bovendien geen prettige bedden. Slechts één kamer in dit hotel heeft een tweepersoonsbed, dus geloof de aanbieding van een tweepersoons bed niet.

Ligging hotel prima, medewerkers zeer vriendelijk, van ontvangst t/m ontbijt prima. Balkon aan de kamer tov binnentuin erg fraai. uitstraling hal, entree zeer goed. Badkamer wel zeer sober van deze standaard kamer. Beetje oubollig. Minimaal een mengkraan bij de wastafel. Het meubilair én de soort verlichting van de Barruimte vinden wij echt niet meer van deze tijd. Koud, kil, schamele tafels. De bar zelf en de soort lampen prima. Deze ruimte behoeft echt een update a la de ontbijtruimte om er sfeer in te brengen.

De enorme inzet en medewerking van het personeel bij het regelen van allerlei zaken rond onze familie, zoals bijvoorbeeld het ontbijt en andere afspraken. Ook het beschikbaar stellen van een paraplu bij het plotseling regenen werd gewaardeerd. Het interieur van het hotel is erg mooi en authentiek. We kunnen ons voorstellen dat we met mooi weer en meer tijd nog veel meer hadden kunnen genieten van dit prachtige hotel en deze uitstekende lokatie. Parkeren was ook geen probleem, ondanks dat we in de binnenstad zaten. Helaas werkte WIFI niet optimaal, maar dit kan voor een deel ook aan ons gelegen hebben. De ontvangst op onze kamer (souterain) was echter niet mogelijk. Op ons gehele (zeer positieve) verblijf is dit echter een klein aspect.

Ziet er netjes uit, bedden goed. Kamer is wat aan de kleine kant. Niet onoverkomeijk, maar bijv. geen fohn op de wel kleine badkamer. Men berekent achteraf res erveringskosten en handling fee, terwijl booking.com een prijs door geeft exc. toeristenbelasting

Ontvangst bij aankomst. Ondanks dat wij te vroeg waren werden we ontvangen met koffie en konden we ver voor de tijd onze kamer betrekken. Het ontbijt was ook zeer goed en voldoende keus.
