Reception was friendl and the room is comfortable and elegantly modern. Route from reception to rooms is inconvenient: walk - down - walk - up - walk!! Carrying cases this is a neusance - unless you are prepared to wait for lifts X 2. Service in the restaurant in the evening was friendly but very slow. The bar is uninviting and the more cosey "cocktail-bar" has never been open when I have stayed!? Later Qs? I was travelling with colleagues, one of whom made the reservations. Not my choice! |

I've stayed here before and the prices on this site are superb given the quality of the rooms and the hotel generally. Lovely staff and convenient for the motorway network for travelling throughout the region. They still need to do some work to improve the menu and make room service more realistic. A tray charge of 15 euros is ridiculous. |

modern hotel - comfortable - functional design - gym is OK. restaurant is poor - they have fish on the menu but refuse to poach it. I can't beleive this in an hotel with this classification. breakfast way too expensive. |

Having lived in Valkenswarrd for a number of years we retun every year about this time to buy our christmas goodies and meet up with old friends. This is our second stay at the Golden Tulip and have recommended this hotel to other people you were visiting this part of the Netherlands.Very clean and comfortable and excellently placed for traveling or just strolling in the nearby countryside. We will use the Golden Tulip again when we next visit. |

All of the staff were very welcoming and were always available and keen to help. The room and the facilities were first class and at the price available on booking.com could not be faulted. This is a genuine 4* hotel. The restaurant was disappointing. There was a very limited menu through the week, prices were on the high side and quality only average. |

Clean and spacious rooms with modern decor . Very comfortable in every way. Free internet in room, pool, spa, exercise room, excellent breakfast, parking, excellent access by car and close to bus (easiest, no hassle way into Eindhoven). An enjoyable stay in every way. |

Good size room. Good choice of food on menu. The modern bathroom was nice, but the bath had anti-slip dimples both ends - not very comfortable for bathing. |

Very efficient and friendly staff. Very pleasant outlook from the room. Coffe and tea making facilities. The slidingwardrobe doorhas slipped out fromits rail but weonly noticed upon our return to the room at 1am so we didn't bother having it fixed as we had to leave at 6am. |

Hotel was good with spa swimming pool and gym. rooms were very nice with free internet access via tv all staff were english speakers also so there was no language barrier had some trouble catching a bus to the hotel and the hotel was unable to help with buses and did not know much about the local area.. i was told the nearest bank was a 20 minute drive whereas there was one 5 min walk into the village of leede.. if travelling on bus from eindhoven station its the 173 service valkenswarreg/a2. walk under the motorway and there it is |

Excellent, very modern well appointed room with good services and ameneties. Excellent value for money. Single beds (twin room) are on the smallish side (especially for tall Dutchmen ;-) Sound insulation could be improved (woke up several times from people in the corridor that were not particularly noisy). |
