The outside of the hotel didn't compliment the inside of the hotel. It was much nicer on the inside.

Very nice room !

There was not enough parking .

conveniently located, good restaurant and bar. Some refurbishment has already taken place and the reception was undergoing upgrading.

Corridors and rooms a bit tatty. my booking had not been acknowledged by the hotel (someone must have forgotten to check internet/agency bookings) when I arrived - quite late - but with another guest also checking in - there were no rooms available except one smoking room ( a better room but I am not a smoker which I was given but asked to be deodourised) - and the suite given to the other guest.

Good location - very near the highway, just in-between Leiden and Haag. Breakfast buffet is good.

Be careful when paying. I was asked to authorize my credit card. Only after the fact did I notice that the price charged [authorized] was too high by appr. 40 eur, compared to my booking.com price (taking into account additional charges such as breakfast and city tax). The receptionist, after my complaint, promptly corrected the price and apologized. Also, hotel (and bathroom in particular) had a very weird smell. (Not overtly unpleasant, but not pleasant either.) All in all, I still had a good experience.

not much actually the staff spoke poorly in English and we had a real hard time even ordering room service, very pricey for a country hotel, mouldy smell, carpets doesn't look very clean.

No Coffee /Tea in Room

We choose this location and hotel as it was very close to famiy members we were visiting.

Breakfast was ok

Low sound isolation, you could hear anything from the hallway.

Utmerket på alle måter. Overraskende med mini-dyrepark rett ved siden av hotellet. Attraktivt for barn.

1 Woche Holland-Tour- nur Hotel van der Valk gebucht- alle waren vorzüglich. Auch das Personal ist in jedem Hotel freundlich und zuvorkommend-auch beim Frühstück. Es gibt in jedem ihrer Restaurants sehr gute Gerichte und die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Wir waren überall - Venlo, Vianen, Volendam,Den Haag- sehr zufrieden und alles ist sehr rein. Danke Waltraud und Herbert Reif Christine und Engelbert Häusler

Eine kleine Bemerkung: in jedem Zimmer war die Beleuchtung zu schwach. Doch wir waren nicht auf Geschäftsreise, sondern auf Urlaub, wo wir am Abend zu müde zum lesen waren.

Comme toujours chez Van Der Valk une cuisine irréprochable tant par le choix que par la qualité.

La moquette est tachée dans tout l’hôtel. Une tache énorme au milieu de la chambre fait désordre pour un 4* ainsi que de la poussière sur les boiseries et dans les prises. Pas de frigo dans la chambre. Une sérieuse rénovation s'impose... Il y avait aussi un centre Van Der Valk de distribution par camion et les entendre passer sous les fenêtres dés 7h c'est pas top.
