Central location, 21:00 check in time 2 single beds pushed together (weird for a suite) no cleaning of the room (they just left some new towels)the dvd player I had attache myself there was no room for the player so it just hanged from the tv by its cables.minibar was off and not stocked |

Good location: Easy to find. Easy to drive to in largely pedestrian town center. Close to underground car park. Close to Kasswaag and Friday morning cheese weighing. Close to resarurants and shopping. Easy to drive in and out of town from hotel & car park. Manager helped find and make Dr. appointment for my ill wife. Breakfast excellent with many items and choices. Hotel housekeeping (1) supplied room with only one small bottle of bath jell (only soap) and did not replace it on second day: and (2) threw away (or ate) bag of special pastries and chocolate truffles we had bought. Manager reimbursed the cost. (3) Shower floor deadly slippery; had to put down hand towel for traction. |

The room was great, two person bath tub, two person shower, other facilities, very comfortable bed (37 weeks pregnant, so that was important!) It looked like it wasn't quite finished. Mini bar did and whirlpool jets did not work, the room was beautiful yet a little bare still. |

I was a great experience staying at the Grand Hotel the rooms are very nice, It is in great location for shopping and sightseeing. The staff were great and so was the food. |

Ruime kamer en ruime badkamer. Mooi gebouw en modern, mar passend interieur, mooi in het centrum gelegen. Erg warm onder het dak, ook s morgens vroeg. Hele nacht herrie van installatie achter van het hotel (airco??), slecht geslapen hierdoor.Tevens zijn kussens veel te dik, slecht voor nek klachten, zorg dat er meerdere en keuzes zijn. Ontbijt was goed verzorgt maar karrig wat keuze betreft i.v.t prijs/kwaliteit. |

Gastvrijheid. Fantastisch mooi opgeknapt oud postkantoor. Leuk voor Alkmaar. In het centrum gelegen. Geen parkeerplaats bij het hotel en het snel een bon uit schrijven van parkeerwachters. Blijkbaar ook pal voor de deur van het hotel. |

Het hotel is midden in het centrum van Alkmaar gevestigd, zodat je vanuit je hotel zo de binnenstad inloopt voor winkels en restaurants. Het hotel ademt van binnen rust uit en heeft veel sfeer. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. |

観光に便利なロケーションでとてもモダンなホテル。スタッフの対応もよく快適に過ごせました。バスルームのジャクジーで観光の疲れを癒せました。 デザインを追及しているからなのか、バスルームにタオルをかけたり、洗面用具を置いておける場所がなく不便だった。 |

Accurate en hulpvraardigheid der personeel. Mooie kamers Ontbijt: lang wachten op brood en koffie. Geen lamp boven de wasbak. Jacuzzi werkte niet. Geen gebruiksaanwijzing voor koffiezetter. Geen prullenbak op het toilet |

Goede bereikbaarheid, persoonlijk onthaal, aangename kleinschaligheid, nette kamers, goede bedden lift is traag en ietwat akelig ; beperkte porties hoofdgerecht in restaurant. tijdens ontbijt zijn broodjes heel erg heet en je moet als het ware aandringen voor een extra kopje koffie of een extra broodjes. |

Schönes, modernes Zimmer mit geräumigem Bad. Ruhige Lage. Leider wusste das Personal nicht, dass Pfingstmontag ein feiertag war und deshalb die Parkhausgebühr überflüssig war. |

Het interieur was authentiek en riep de sfeer op van vroegere postkantoren met daarbij een modern tintje. Het personeel was vriendelijk en deed niet moeilijk over onze labrador. |
