close to central station and all of the attractions. The hotel bar was understaffed and there was a very tall/skinny guy working that would go out of his way to avoid eye contact, or offer assistance in any way. He was laughable. The other staff was very helpful. |

Loved the fact that there was free minibar, the room was BIG and beautiful, great staff, we got a free upgrade to junior suite and had an excellent stay! The hotel was simply fantastic, but for us, who went to Amsterdam to experience the city, it felt kind of a waste to have this hotel. We were in town all day, and only slept and showered in the hotel. |

The room was large, bed comfortable and with a very nice view out of the window. Staff very helpful. gym equipment could be newer and more plentiful. Quite small area for such a large hotel. |

That they write off my Breakfast bill, then I had quit a lot of technical problems. If you pay that price for a Hotel Room then you expect that TV works, that Wireless is good and that Elevator are working and not all the time off. Breakfast Euro 25.-way to expensive for what they offer. |

We took the train from the airport and got off at Central Station. The hotel was in walking distance from the station but also in a quiet area, even on Queen's Day. It was well situated to easily walk and see canals and popular sites. They upgraded us to a suite which was very nice. The mini bar was included at no extra cost. We enjoyed a great meal at the hotel restaurant. |

This Hotel it's a piece of history, it really feels "special" Not easy access to the lounge and to few people at the reception. |

the amazing view from room 405 ,its great opening the curtains in the morning and seeing all of Amsterdam. some rooms in the first floor are very depressing ,and also the walls if someone is working outside in the corridors doesn't block the noise |

Well placed in City, room good size and well appointed, complimentary mini-bar and Nespresso coffee maker were nice touches. House keeping very poor for 5* hotel. TV not working when we arrived, room not made up on second day, eratic clearance of used towels and empty mini-bar bottles led to complaint to manager which, to be fair, he apologised for and discounted room rate but should not have happened. Also bar closed for two days out of the three we were there to re-varnish floor-disappointing that we could'nt use it. |

The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Central Station and a short distance from Chinatown and Red Light District. The free mini-bar is excellent with beers and wines and expresso machine. Top rated. |

Great rooms. Nice and large, wonderful bathrooms. Would have loved to take advantage of the ammenities, just didn't stay long enough. Quite nice to have a complimentary minibar. Room really was well worth the $$ and would recommend staying there again. Had a dirty bathrobe in the room and the shower head was not working. Brought both to the attention of reception at check out (stayed just one night) they apologized, but offered nothing more. |

Service was excellent. Good value for the price. Internet and other amenities provided inclusive in room cost were much appreciated. Very little space for drop off and pickup at front door, to the point of being dangerous. |

The historical significance of the building, and it's beauty and uniqueness. The free mini bar (replenished every day !) was quite a treat. The shower set-up leaked a lot of water (at least while used by us non-Dutch people). |

Quiet room with good view of sea, close to train station The first impression of the hotel - apart from admiring the architecture of the building - was very poor. Definitely not 5*. Check-in was in a small room with a door that kept closing so we were kept waiting in the lobby for far too long while nothing seemed to be going on. |

I stayed for one night and didn't have a chance to visit the spa. The hallways and lobby etc. are a bit small compared to a modern business hotel but it's a historic building in the 'Amsterdamse School' style and I found that one of the apealing things about the hotel. I would definitely go there again. The internet was a bit slow but it was free so I can hardly complain about that. |

Friendly staff, great facilities, excellent location and they filled up my mini bar for free! Room was a little small, but with a bit of furniture moving, the lay out was improved to allow for easier access to cupboards etc |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a complimentary minibar, the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool/leisure centre is well equipped and very relaxing with a good choice of massages/facials The water jets in the jacuzzi weren't very strong which was a bit disappointing. |

What a super "character" hotel, and the staff were outstanding, giving great care to minor details (daily weather report and umbrella in room!). Would highly recommend this hotel to those who want something a bit different. Sadly the restaurant was fully booked because it was Restaurant Week in Amsterdam - what a shame - I shall just have to stay there again! |

The location is fairly good and the comfort of room/bathroom is reasonable for a five star hotel. Staff, service, knowlegde was particulary poor and certainly not worth ' 5 star' accomodation. The main problem was that staff was under experienced, they were not managed and the hotel was understaffed. Actually I wanted to complain about all the bad service we've got during our stay but we were already so tired of waiting for everything that we decide no to. |

It's a very good hotel having all to make you feel comfortable there. We liked it very much. The swimming pool was great, so were the rooms! |

Hotel Estheréa is ideally located on one of the most beautiful and quiet canals in the centre of he city, only 300 metres from the Dam Square and the Royal Palace. |
Located in one of Amsterdam’s most remarkable historical buildings, right across from Central Station, this stylish hotel offers contemporary accommodation with free access to its indoor pool. |
The hotel is situated in the historical heart of the city. Within walking distance you'll find many shopping streets and department stores. |
The Garden Hotel in its peaceful setting lies but walking distance away from the chic shopping streets, splendid museums and welcoming pavement cafes of Amsterdam. |
