Hotel Grand Canal

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, zentral, mit dem Blick auf einen Kanal. Es ist klein und verbreitet deswegen eine fast familiäre Atmosphäre.Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und zuvorkommend.

Schimmel im Badezimmer (an der Decke), Toristikabgaben 3,50€ anstatt 2 € (wie im Internet angegeben). Man konnte Personen im Nachbarzimmer reden hören.Keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel.

Es war zentral. Es hatte kostenlos Internet.

Obwohl wir ein Appartment gebucht hatten, hatten wir in der 1. Nacht nur ein Hotelzimmer. Wir sind auch nur durch Zufall in das Hotel gelassen worden, denn es schließt um 18:00 Uhr die Außentür. Ein anderer Gast hat uns reingelassen. Unsere Schlüssel lagen dann mit einem Brief an der Rezeption. Wir hatten aber unsere spätere Ankunkt 21:10 angekündigt. Es ist total heruntergekommen und schmutzig. Das Appartment war etwas besser. Es liegt aber in einem völlig anderem Bereich wie das Hotel. Es gibt keine Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel noch beim Appartment. Das Appartment liegt in der Oosteinde. Der eigentliche Eingang ist nicht zum Kanal sondern liegt an der Mauer, 2. Tür ohne Beschriftung, Licht und unsicher. Nur im Notfall buchen

Die freundichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Die sauberen Zimmer. Der Komfort in den Zimmern. Die ruhige Lage, obwohl man mitten drin ist.

Mit dem Auto schlecht erreichbar und keine Parkplätze, auch nicht zum Be- oder Endladen.

Die zentrale Lage und das sehr große und luxuriöse Zimmer (Nr. 11)

Die Rezeptionistin war unfreundlich und sprach nur gebrochen Englisch.Beim Erhalt der Rechnung wurden 5€ "reservation fees" verrechnet. Als ich dann nach einer Begründung zu diesem Punkt verlangte, wusste die Rezeptionistin mir nicht zu antworten und ich musste die 5€ nicht zahlen. Desweiteren waren die Fenster im Zimmer defekt und man konnte sie nicht richtig schliessen

Services by the hotel staff were not available before 8 am and after 7 pm.

Convenient to train station.

We had requested a twin-bedded room with bath/shower on booking but on arrival were given double bed. After querying, we had to pay 15 euro extra for same size room with two beds and no bath. There was a shower. We had paid the same price for a luxury hotel in Amsterdam with all amenities, spa/ swimming pool restaurant etc in central location. Overall the Grand Canal gave the impression of a kitch hostel. The staff were very helpful but we would'nt stay there again.

Good location, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff when on site. Free internet in common area/lounge.

Almost self service hotel. Reception not staffed alot of the time. More like a very comfortable guest house than hotel. Breakfast at 18 euros would seem overpriced.

The apartment was big and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the washing machine is included on the apartment facility

The bell is not working, the lamps were dim and the apartment is a long walk from the station

The position of the Hotel Grand Canal was very good - close to the train station and also to the main part of the old part of Delft

However it was quite run down and we were up two flights of stairs with no lift. I guess the price was cheaper to compensate this but did not include any breakfast which you could have for quite an exorbitant price extra. However if you wanted a budget hotel in good position this could be for you

The hotel was really very nice. We've booked an appartement (47.5euro), but lived in a room for 200 euro (for the same price - 47,5 euro). that was a good surprise.
