Excellent location in the centre of Delft. The double room we had was cean and comfortable. Good value entry-level hotel. Stated formal check-in hours are a bit limiting in the evening (website states to check-in before 18.00) although in practice one can ring the door bell if arriving later; but this might be a bit off-putting for some. Breakfast, if you were wishing to pay extra for it, did not start until very late in the morning (10 am on a Sunday morning!!!) This would be very restricting on doing anything else in the morning if you were to take the breakfast at the hotel. |

For some reason our booking had been lost by the hotel. The one representative of the management found a spare room - not normally used and not fitting the description "Luxurious Double Room'. Only when we complained were we offered an alternative for the following 2 nights. We were refused price reduction for the first night. Reception was closed on our departure. At a standard €18, the breakfast is over priced. The booking confirmation quited €16. |

nothing, this place is more like a hostel than a hotel We arrived at 19:00, the entrance door was looked, we pushed a buzer and was remotely let in. the next morning we went for breakfast at 08:00, but it was deserted, I again went outside and pushed the buzer, and was told no breakfast till 09:00. We left at 08:30 without breakfast (which was included in the price) without seeing a member of staff during our stay. The reception was unmaned for more than 12 hours, completly unacceptable for a hotel |

Please watch out. The price didnt reflect real pricing as show in website. They charge me additional breakfast, even I book it with a breakfast inclusive price. The hotel staff told me this is the mistake from website. They forced me to pay it. I am not happy with this. |

Nice view from the breakfast area over the Oude Delft to the old Church tower. Good selection of food for such a small hotel Breakfast was formally on a Saturday only from 9:15 - 10:15. I could have my breakfast luckily earlier at 9:00. For a such a small hotel I would have preferred that water cooker are available to prepare tea instead of getting a thermoflask with hot water. |

Only location. Windows were so swollen they would not close, heating was overheated, shower curtain rod half falling down, access shabby. I paid 70 euro (which was a 50% discount) what a joke this place is rightly priced as budget at 39.99. |

We stayed in the "appartment". It's cheap and it's in the center of town, 5 min walking to the main square. It's quiet. The staff people are nice and kind The description doesn't match the reality: the "appartment" is just a room. There is no telephone and even if you use your cellphone none at the reception will answer. Since it is 12 min walking far from the Hotel (with baggage it is a long walk), if you need anything you have to take a walk and it's better to go in the morning cause in the evening there is none. There is nothing suitable for hanging clothes or jackets |

Convenient to train station. We had requested a twin-bedded room with bath/shower on booking but on arrival were given double bed. After querying, we had to pay 15 euro extra for same size room with two beds and no bath. There was a shower. We had paid the same price for a luxury hotel in Amsterdam with all amenities, spa/ swimming pool restaurant etc in central location. Overall the Grand Canal gave the impression of a kitch hostel. The staff were very helpful but we would'nt stay there again. |

Very friendly staff. Clean towels and bedding. It's nice to have a small garden, especially for smokers. Delft is a nice place.. Note: I stayed in the apartmnent not the hotel. It's actually the size of a hotel room with a kitchenette. It is in urgent need of redecoration. Light bulbs missing, a shelf pulled off the wall, shaving mirror missing and generally looking like it hasnt been looked after for some time. |

Good location, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff when on site. Free internet in common area/lounge. Almost self service hotel. Reception not staffed alot of the time. More like a very comfortable guest house than hotel. Breakfast at 18 euros would seem overpriced. |

The position of the Hotel Grand Canal was very good - close to the train station and also to the main part of the old part of Delft However it was quite run down and we were up two flights of stairs with no lift. I guess the price was cheaper to compensate this but did not include any breakfast which you could have for quite an exorbitant price extra. However if you wanted a budget hotel in good position this could be for you |

The hotel was really very nice. We've booked an appartement (47.5euro), but lived in a room for 200 euro (for the same price - 47,5 euro). that was a good surprise. |
