Hotel Grand Canal

Ideal position to visit the city, staff was nice.

Although the floor and the beds were well cleaned, there was mould in the fridge and one curtain was stained. The apartment was somewhat messed up, one window had a view into a room with spare broken furniture.

Close to Central Station

The staff was rude, unfriendly and contentious. When we had a small dispute over the bill - her reaction was to call the police!!!! Smoking was allowed in the hotel and the front desk girl would sit with her loud teenage friends chain smoking and staring from the desk. Do not stay here!!!! There were much better places on the same street!!!

Hotel Location

Staff were not polite! Bed Sheets were just dirty, I asked for changing the sheets but they refused!!! No tap in the Kitchen! Not good at all.

Situated in the middle of Delft

Prices for breakfast 18,50€ a bit much

Our room was OK. We realy enjoyed.

The extra administration fee on the end of our staying.

It was close to the City centre with easy access to the Market, Train and Tram Station

There was no provision of Tea/ Coffee in the room.

The rest was not good: dirty hotel with staff that hardly spoke Dutch. Breakfast was extensive but everything was old and distasteful. Not inviting at all. During breakfast the staff were not interested in the guests as they were watching a loud American tv programme on strange animal behaviour.... It was very sad. I was happy to leave!!!

If you have ever dreamt to see Venice and that is too far from your location, try Hotel Grand Canal in Delft. It is a very good aproximation.

The location, staff, building.

I did not have a shower curtain.

It was not expensive and close to the center.

no parking, poor room but value for the money because we had an offer , otherwise if you have to pay full price it think it's to expensive.

Location is good, room is clean, room price is acceptable but: they have a strange policy concerning their breakfast. It is nowhere indicated or announced that you have to order it the evening before, so I found a closed door to the restaurant the first day and if you order it, it is quite expensive

1) They added 5 euro to the bill for "administration"?? 2) they asked 13,5 euro tourist taxt for 4 nights, while another hotel in Delft that I was in last week charged 8 euro for 4 nights 3) the corridors and the plumbing really need "renovation"
