The reception is very nice, eager to help guests. The location of the hotel is good, nearby the shopping street.

Lovely location! Just far enough out of the the throng, but lovely area with a few local cafes and bars.S

Very small room which was quite gloomy due to ground floor and back of building location.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with any questions we had about the city, and what we had around us! Would definately stay here again. Good location, away from the business of the city but 25 mins walk to red light district and ten mins to nearest shops and bars! Lots of nice restaurants next to he itl which staff told us about!

The shower was not great for getting in and out of, if you were remotely fatter around the waist you would not be able to fit in. Not good. Needed a bigger shower and a bath.

The hotel is definitely very very close to the center, dont hesitate and dont listen to the others who says that its far. Its a very nice neighbourhood, next to Leidsplein also (its a nice place with cafes restaurants shopping areas etc. So instead of staying in the hassle of crowded places, pay half money and choose this hotel. Everything is new and very very clean. Also with a crazy nice decoration. So definitely choose this hotel

Well equipped room and bathroom, good location, good internet connection

Breakfast and parking are too expensive, room is very small and uncomfortable, parking card didn't work properly so every time we had to ask for assistance

The room was very clean and modern and thhe reception guys was very helpulf but the room was very small and the location of hotel was not that good

Really helpful and friendly staff, clean and and tidy. Apple cakes. OK for one or two nights.

Much smaller room than we expected with no immediate access to outside and fresh air. Smell from drains was a little off-putting but resolved on our second day.

Location & hotel design

No mirror in my room, cleaning after 3 pm is a little bit late.

It was near the tram, grocery, laundromat. Took only 20 mins to get to the airport. Room was neat and clean, although a bit small and our bags were just on the floor.

It was hard to find. The pillows were hard.

Didn't like that they called it *Grand Hotel Downtown* in advertising but it is not a 'Grand' hotel. I think by using that name...they could be sued by the real Grand hotel brand. Tv in the room had a Fuzzy Picture.

Design

Hotel was close door at night and no one there to open it I stay 30 minute out Side wait staff to open the hotel to open door- there's not restaurant in hotel except for break fast!!

I liked the comfortable feeling of the room, the bathroom was also beautiful. The room was clean and in the quiet part of the hotel. It was great!

We stayed in Junior Sweet - beautiful interior, big bed, wooden floor, spacious bathroom.

Curtains didn't fully cover the windows. Windows and the door in the room (ground floor) couldn't be opened.

Clean bathrooms, all you need in the rooms.

No carpets in the corridors, so a lot of noise. Very thin walls, not peacefull.

OMG, there are lots of things, check in late(room not ready in time),very cold in the room,service respond for each one of the requests after half an hour and more,unprofesional attitude of the staff,i booked a suite and they gave me a room but i ve been so upset that i couldn't argue anymore.Very bad experience,never again i will change big chains as Marriott or Hilton for this alternatives.
