    Such a lovely hotel to arrive to- we arrived at night and it looked like a traditional Dutch fairy castle. Breakfast was good, the room was nice, everything was spotless.

    We had booked a place with 24 hour reception as we were cycling from The Hague and were uncertain of what time we would arrive. We then called the hotel that night to tell them we would be late arriving, at around 2am. However, when we arrived, there was nobody at reception. We waited around, knocking on the door and calling the phone for almost half an hour before somebody came to let us in. We dragged our bodies up to the shower to find that there were no towels in our room. Apparently they "forgot". It was a bit of a shame to have these stresses as it really is a nice hotel.

    Excellent and big rooms, nice location of the hotel, bike rental worked fine.

    Professionally polite staff, but never really friendly nor interested in their guests. Quite impersonal and uncosy hotel, which would not be a problem for a business hotel, bit is a disadvantage in a leisure/tourist region such as Zeeland.

    Clean room, great selection at breakfast. Lovely pool.

    Broken lift for first 24 hours, dangerously slippy floor around swimming pool. Swim pool was out of action on 2nd morning. Drawer pulls and door handles were loose in the bedroom.

    We had a family "apartment" within the hotel. The apartment was spacious, well furnished, with two balconies and a functional kitchenette. We also enjoyed the pool as well as the lobby in the evening. The breakfast was very good. Overall we were very happy.

    The room was excellent.

    The food was poor and overpriced. We had to send the raw burger back!. The attitude of some of the staff was not what you would expect in a hotel such as this either, certainly not friendly and attentive.

    Fairly new hotel, very large and comfortable room (although I found the mattress a bit too soft - but this is a question of subjective feeling) and bathroom, nice swimming pool and saunas, convenient location of the hotel. Very nice breakfast. Friendly staff at the reception. Nice and spatious entrance lobby.

    Should be more attentive to details: towels were not changed and I had to ask 2x, the fitness room is very rudimentary (pretty much of no use), no towels are available in the pool area. The first impression of the hotel is very good, but eventually the general experience is 3* rather than 4*. All this could change very quickly if the management wanted to.

    Spacious, good value for money

    Some of the reception staff were very friendly, but the lady who received me did not gave me the impression I was very welcome. I was a bit early so it was clear there were no rooms available, but a bit more hospitality would have been appreciated. The other staff was very helpful though.

    A bit fussy about arriving late (11pm was cut off) There was no bath, but a shower head with handicap access, overall strange configuration in bathroom. The general area is much more charming than that hotel

    The hotel room (2 bedrooms and a living room + large balcony) was excellent. The swimming pool areas was nice, including three different saunas/hot rooms. The bike rental worked well.

    The dinner service in the hotel restaurant was really slow. We had to ask several times so that we got what we wanted. Our room was not cleaned on one of the days we stayed. The WLAN should work also in the rooms, not just in the lobby.

    Lot's of bikes to hire at a very reasonable price - Ideal place to start to experience The Netherlands cycling culture - Wonderful Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Sauna, Etc... Fantastic Shower in Huge Bedroom / Ensuite - Breakfast Choice out of this world !!

    Staff very efficient but not very friendly - Nice balcony but don't expect much of a view - Bar and Restraunt a bit pricey - Struggling to find any other "constructive critiscism" folks. This was a very nice Hotel.

    After reading the previous reviews on here about customer service, I was a bit apprehensive. I was wrong. Well done management team and personel! It seems the quality was improved greatly. Very professional and friendly service both in the reception and the restaurant. Rooms are very large, clean and pretty. Perfect breakfast, huge choice and very friendly waitresses.

    Pool is a bit plain and impersonal. No towels?! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and service. However, the menu is a bit limited and the place closes at 21.00. Avoid restaurant on the same street : Zeebinke. Arrogant personnel and a poor quality food.

    no tv in the bedroom no WLAN, have to use a cable the resaurant was really terrible; Pasta was realy really bad and it is a high Price level

    Very large room, friendly staff, great locations and easy to rent bikes. The best to stay in this area !

    Price was a bit too high during the middle season but the service was there ! ;-)

    Large room.

    This is a bond hotel where different investors are the owners of the rooms. Their investment gives a 6% return. The hotel is therefore very busy and noisy. Dogs are allowed in the whole hotel including restaurant and cafeteria. As a result the lobby smells. The front facade of the hotel looks like an old folks residence which is off putting. This is certainly not your standard 4 star hotel.

    Nice looking hotel, clean, comfortable, good facilities, overall good.

    To activate room service, you have to pay EUR 12.50. So if you want one cup of coffee, you have to pay 12.50 + the price of coffee. That's absurd. Some of the staff are too young and inexperienced. I ordered a pumpkin soup and was given a quarter of a bowl (my wife's tomato soup was filled more than three quarters). I made a comment, and the (young, inexperienced) waiter said 'Maybe they've run out.' I would say, then don't serve any at all. He offered to top it off with tomato soup, a pretty interesting suggestion :) Anyway, it does seem that, perhaps to cut costs, the hotel is hiring very inexperienced help. They should be trained properly then.

    Although the design of the hotel was impractical, both inside and out (You cannot drive up to the door!), the building was solid and therefore quiet.

    Absolutely no double mattresses in the whole hotel. After suffering this for 2 nights asked for our money ack instead of suffering 2 more nights unromantically falling off a single mattress. Was told that this was not possible because Booking.com controlled the situation and we had taken a non-returnable rate. We explained that we had turned up and then become dissatisfied customers so the hotel should release our money so that we could go to a hotel in the village which did have proper double mattresses and was half the price. After phoning, the hotel manager said Booking.com would not agree. This level of greed and bad service is disgraceful, and spoiled a romantic re-union. There are also no kettles in the rooms so every cup of coffee has to travel from the bar, only open after 12am, and costs 3 euros each. Never again, and gave us a bad impression of both Holland and Booking.com. They also have the cheek to bombard my email box with special offers of massage but all written in Dutch. No thanks for ever. We did not use the restaurant at all, far too expensive.

    Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room size including bathroom was very spacious compared to European standard Hotel location is good and very close to beach as we las forest. There is a very good Turkish restaurant called Asmara which makes very good dishes

    Restaurant inside hotel was very expensive and not worth at all.
