The intimate Hotel Greenside Texel is in the picturesque village of De Koog, half a mile from the beach. It offers extensive spa facilities and elegant accommodations with private balconies. The spacious hotel rooms are stylishly decorated and have a nice sitting area with TV. Each rooms has a private balcony or terrace, offering views of the surrounding green scenery. Guests can make free use of the relax rooms, the sauna and the Turkish steam bath. The solarium and the hydro jet massage can be used against a small fee. Restaurant Wambinge serves a menu of classic French cuisine with local products and seasonal ingredients. Snacks and light meals can be ordered here as well. I liked the hotel but upgraded and paid more for a double bed and got two single beds together with a sheet on top. Very uncomfortable for a couple to sleep together in. I think they should invest in double beds for the expensive rooms.

The restaurant was good, the hotel is in a good position if you want to cicle and be in the nature...otherwise, I would recomend another part of the island that is of course better! Not very clen room and not very clean spa

Staff were very accomodating. Room we had was large and spacious. Bathroom could have been cleaner. The bedsheets left an itchy feeling on the skin.

Hotel Staff very friendly and professional. The menu card can be improved; vegetarian menu didn't really meet the expectations but staff was open to criticism and even made a gesture towards its guests.

Good location in De Koog - the town centre and beach are easily accessible. Nice breakfast. Many rooms are facing a big parking lot, not much of a view. The place was very noisy due to the fair (Kermis) that was taking place next door. Quite expensive.

Huge room and very clean. One can have the feeling it was the first one staying in that room. Near the shops & restaurants. Good parking. Very animal friendly. They charged 15euros per dog (normally its 7euros). They said that the room has a private garden what was not fully true as it was not a closed garden (you couldn't leave your dog w/o this escaping). Room price was a bit too much for the sort of hotel it was.

I did not like room 307 we had too small kids with us the curtains are too short and the sun shines in the room early in the morning and the room is too bright during the day too get them too sleep.

Personeel was uitermate vriendelijk. Hotel was schoon, gezellig, comfortabel, ontbijt was heerlijk, vlak bij dorp en strand, etc. Voor ons was het de tweede keer en we gaan zeker weer.

Prettig hotel met een prima ligging. Heerlijke bedden, een groot balkon en veel faciliteiten op de kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Een plek om opnieuw naar terug te gaan.

We werden heel hartelijk welkom geheten door medewerkers van het hotel. We kregen hele duidelijke informatie over het hotel. De kamers vonden wij netjes en groot. Van alle gemakken voorzien. De badkamer zag er prima uit. Iedere dag werd er gestofzuigd. Het ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid en goed. Kortom het is een hotel dat ik iedereen wil aanraden om een keertje naar toe te gaan als je op Texel bent. Een klein min puntje...het balkon !! Dat was érg klein. Het balkon was erg klein.

Het is een modern hotel voorzien van alle benodigde faciliteiten. De kamer was qua ruimte (junior suite) en comfort perfekt. Met name de bedden zijn absoluut klasse. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en gewoon goed. Voor het overige biedt het hotel voldoende lounge mogelijkheden, is er voldoende parkeer mogelijkheid en ligt het T.O.V. het dorp zelf op een zeer gunstige lokatie M.B.T. loopafstand en rust.

Wij hebben een zeer goed verblijf in dit hotel gehad. De kamer gaf een erg schoon en fris gevoel, de jacuzzi was heerlijk. Ruime kamer met goede bedden. Mooie welness ruimte met o.a. sauna en turks stoombad. Ook dit was schoon en netjes. Een lekker en goed ontbijt met veel keus en wat iedere keer werd bijgevuld. Vriendelijk en professioneel personeel.
