... If you like paying for something that you don't want then this is a great place Not much that I disliked, but we didn't get what we reserved and got put in a different room. No discounts because of the inconvenience nor an explanation why we didn't get our rooms. Check in was at 1400 and we arrived at 1230. Instead of informing us immediately about the situation and explaining why it happened so, we found out about it last minute. Once the room was booked online with credit card customers are told that the room is reserved and booked. Another surprise that hit us because then we had to pay another cover-charge which is still pending. A lot of hidden things that could make your stay in Amsterdam a horror trip. So for this inconvenience I personally will not recommend this hotel nor mentioned that I stayed here

All in all, a good experience. Quiet, near the tram-stop, meets all basic needs. Perfect for travellers that do not intend on spending much of their time in the hotel room. Single bed room was extremely small, and on the street level (which did not end up being a problem, although it did bother at first).

A reasonably priced comfortable clean room close to the city centre and main attractions. Easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. The noise from the traffic outside was quite loud at night. No hot drinks making facilities in room. No plug for the sink.

The hotel feels quality. It was always clean and well presented. The staff were nice and having staying in another hotel nearby - I can say it is great value for money

Reception area was well presented and the staff were helpful... The rooms didn't match the reception area. Old furniture, towels, bathroom grout dirty, things not finished properly. Metal framed room doors that seemed to only shut when slammed, so never quiet at night! Also no member of staff around through the night which could have been useful to quieten down some people running about slamming doors in various rooms. Bought back memories of staying in hostels when travelling but unfortunately at hotel prices...

Friendly staff. Nicely decorated in a modern style and very clean. Fairly centrally located and within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. We found it an ideal base. Shower room and toilet a bit cramped and I personally hate the practice (which seems all too common across Europe but I've become resigned to) of putting two single beds together to make a double bed.

Good value for money. The location of the hotel was good. It was within easy walking distance to shops, pubs, clubs and public transport. The hotel staff were friendly and very accommidating when it came to leaving your luggage after check out time. The main hotel area was decorated to a very high standard and the room we had was nicely decorated, quite spacious and clean. the beds and towels were changed every day. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The location. The bathroom shower was almost unusable; The bed was too small for my height (1,85m) and there are walls on both ends; Breakfast is poorly prepared.

Hotel was nice, especially reception and public areas. Room very small, quite noisy. I found it quite expensive for what it was but it seem like these are the average prices for hotels in Amsterdam.

We enjoyed staying in a hotel. It was very quiet and you couldnt hear people making a noise in other rooms. When we checked and we got our key from the room. We found somebodys hair in a sink, also, was quite few on a toilet pan.

Sad, they could have spent more of the budget on the rooms instead of the lobby. Felt like a rip-off, attractive lobby and then really bad rooms. Water damage in the roof, cold and half finished work. There was no heating in my first room, and since they let me change and I had paid two days in advance, they figured that there was no need for refunding the second day when I cancelled my reservation. Definitely never coming back, and not recommending to anyone.

I expected better parking facilities - the cost was prohibitive and I needed to attend family events which lasted beyond midnight. When I returned, the hotel was locked. A 3 star establishment should be open all the time. The room was very small and only had a shower/wet room, when I had asked for a bath. I would class this hotel as a Bed & Breakfast at perhaps 3 stars, but as a hotel it was no more than one star. I was also surprised to be asked to pay for the 4 nights when I checked in. It is normal to take the credit card details, but for the customer to pay on check out.

Nice reception and calm neighbourhood from the hotel area, however nothing else. The photos on the hotel do not reflect the rooms. Door locks and doors of hotel nit safe. Hotel is not manned 24hrs. Evenings the reception is off and tge duty porter lives away. Very poor hotel and not clean. Theyve refurbished the entrance and reception of hotel but the hotel standard double rooms are definately not worth paying 120 euros a night! We stayed in the suite room but had to move out as again was not secure and surely not worth the 190 euro a night! They also charge extra paying by credit card which wasnt mentioned on the site.
