This hotel is just off the main shopping area of Amsterdam. Great location but just far away to be quiet also. We stayed on the 5th floor far side of the hotel and the room was nice. The window looked inwards, but this meant it was very quiet. Had a great nights sleep! They also let us check in early and the staff were very helpful in telling us the best places to visit..! We didn't have breakfast as it was an additional 30 euros for both of us. Outside is lots of cafes making breafast for 5euros ea.

Taxis cannot pull up directly in front of the hotel, so you have to portage your luggage about 50 yards from curbside to the hotel entrance.

Just like everyone else has been probably said before me, the location was perfect!! It was within walking distance of almost everything, including the Central Station, the Red Light District (a straight shot from the hotel), and Anne Frank's House. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Even the housekeeping staff said hello or asked how I was doing whenever I walked past. It was amazingly quiet for the location that it was in also. Compared to the other "hostels" or hotels that we looked at, this one seemed to be a winner, so we chose it and won. The check-in wasn't until 1500, but we arrived around 11 and they already had our room waiting for us, which was another plus. And they had free Wi-Fi, which you usually don't get in European hotels, another big plus. When we arrived at the hotel, they added on an additional 50 Euro is a safety deposit on the room, although it doesn't say that when you confirm the reservation. They had also put a $300 safety deposit hold on my credit card, so I couldn't understand the 50 Euro. They gave it back when I checked out, but still. They also charged me for some kind of tax that was stated in my confirmation that it was included in the price of the room. It made the price of the room jump 65 Euro extra. They should let others know of these charges once they make the confirmation. I also didn't like how the breakfast wasn't included in the room rate. For the price of the room (which almost doubled on Sat, then went back to normal price on Sun), I think that breakfast should be included. And for 15 Euro, the breakfast isn't that huge of a spread where as you could just walk around the corner and get a complete breakfast for 10 Euro. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay there.

Excellent location, good room, most staff are extremely helpful. The reception staff are unhelpful. Some appear not to have basic knowledge. Anyone booking through Booking.com should be aware that city tax is already paid for at the time of the booking however the reception staff try to charge you again and in my case they succeeded.

The room was clean and the hotel is a short walk to Amsterdam Centraal. The beds were probably the most uncomfortable I slept on in Europe. I did not feel it was worth the money spent.

The friendly, helpful and efficient staff were an asset to this hotel. They took a lot of trouble to assist us, especially in obtaining flight details and other information. The location was excellent, just a few steps from many restaurants, shops and transport. Free internet terminals were provided in the lounge. Our room was nice and quite and was equipped with everything we required - tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, hairdryer, valuables safe, tv and radio. There was even a shoe cleaning machine on our floor for free use. The bed was a little too soft for my back, but my husband was comfortable.

The location is in walking distance of the train station. Our room was big and the bed was huge! We liked the decoration. The hotel has a lot of restaurants nearby. I recommend and would repeat. The fact that our room was in another building that implied to take a elevator at the reception and to switch elevators at second floor didn't bother us at all!

The location was good, we walked with luggage from Centraal Station quite easily; shopping and tours were within minutes. Room was comfortable and amazingly quiet, at least on the courtyard where we were. Breakfast room was pleasant with a skylight ceiling, all food good quality. Staff were pleasant and helpful with things like directions, suggestions, printing tickets, etc. The lounge with fireplace for evening drinks was nice. There was no low cost alternative for breakfast (E.G. coffee, juice and pastry); it was €15,00 or nothing.

Room was totally quiet and a good bed. The (small) lobby-bar with a fireplace and the breakfast room were nice. The breakfast was great - much better than I expected. Location was perfect for me: in the middle of interesting sights and close to central station and canal cruises. My normal "Deluxe" room had been upgraded to "Excecutive" room (meaning propably a better bed and all necessities in the bathroom). The photos all over the hotel were really cool like they looked on their web pages (but also boosted a bit too much the expectations). The room and corridors were old and not very fresh, but clean and ok. Also close to bar alleys and red light disctricts (like in many places in downtown) which might be not optional for some people.

A pleasant hotel, friendly staff, clean decent size room and a nice buffet breakfast. The hotel is centrally located in a quiet street and in its great for first time visitors to Amsterdam who want to get an initial feel to this great ciUty! Very close to central station which I found useful as I had a morning flight to catch The breakfast should be included in the room rate and should not have to be paid separately. I did pay the supplement and did enjoy the buffet. On the other hand there are many cafes near the hotel offering breakfast.

We chose Inntel Hotels for guests review score, location and price. We had a good surprise discovering this hotel. It has an excellent location - 7 minutes pass from Centraal Train station (be sure you have printed area map and walking directions). 1 block from big shopping street. 10 minutes walk to Red Lights. 3-5 minutes walk to tourist offices and boat stations. Many restaurants for any budget around. Our Twin room was big enough, with fresh renovation and furniture, modern design, as well as the whole hotel. Emglish speaking staff was friendly and helpful. Toiletries were good. Very clean non-smoking hotel. If you will be lucky to reach highest floor you will have view to beautiful roofs. The price of eur120 did not include breakfast. No Russian tv channels, some of English channels.

Excellent location: close to the shopping area, close to the Jordaan (good and causy restaurants), close to the central station and the metro station (ideal if you have your business meetings at the outside of Amsterdam). Very nice rooms and accommodation.

The high speed WiFi internet was amazing. Fastest that I have ever had in a hotel anywhere. Not a complaint, but the hot water pressure could have been higher. I like showers which completely drench me.

The position of the hotel was great as it was close to everything, The train station, good eating areas, shopping and tourist attractions. It was a quiet hotel with nice staff and a very good breakfast. The hotel aso haa a nice open fire with a pleaant ar to enjoy a night cap or a coffee. We thought it was good value for money. The room we had was in a second building but this wasn't too bad it just meant we had to take to elevators.
