WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam 4 stars  

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and of a very high standard. The food was of very good quality and tasty. It was extremely convenient for the city centre and the bus stopped right outside the hotel. It took less than 10minutes to get to Centraal Station.

The room was very comfortable but a little airless as the window was sealed. It was ok when the air conditioning was switched on.

The room was very well decorated, was clean and comfortable. The transport links into dam square were excellent. It was a wonderful stay and we would definately return. Only bad point was the food was very expensive for what it was.

The room was spacious and clean I liked the big desk. Bus stop is in front of the hotel and so convenient to the railway station/town. Internet worked great in the room.

Our room had Murphy bed, not real bed. And the wall was removable, not real wall. I suppose they will use 2 rooms as a big meeting room or something. We hear people in the next room talking clearly. I don't think this is 4 star. On the way back to the hotel we had to cross the busy street from the bus stop and walk muddy pass in the central island. There is no crosswalk.

I must say I am staying in this hotel since 8 years now ...but this week was a disaster !!! - Breakfast openee every day at 07:05 with a huge numbeof people waiting in the lobby for opening - too late before I could get served and go to work. - 2 days during breakfast, both coffee machines stopped working and I did not get coffee. - Lady at the reception was very unfriendly, very cold and very unefficient - 17minutes to check in ! (her badge was "Bibi"). - Prices in the bar are now totally crazy (14.99 for a brandy blazer iso 8.99 in the past !), Steak/frites/Salad is now 28euros, parking is 22 ... - Every day, no shower get in the bathroom ... If nothing is done, I am looking for another hotel (and my colleagues too).

Spacious comfortable room, separate bathroom and toilet (what a great.idea!) and free working wi-fi. Location was good since the bus stop is in front of the hotel and it takes 15 min. to get to the Central Station. Hotel staff were helpful.

Breakfast too expensive; lack of english-speaking news TV channels.

Tho room was great..the bed was very big. Nice stuff and very good facilitis. The bar at the hotel is open until 01.00 am and its not expensive. Its prety far but you bus 48 wich come every 10 min and take you to the central staition. After 24:00 you have a night bus every hour but its extra. We were realy afrid cuz of the distance but in the end it was great...

Only the fact that the buss stopes after 24:00. very expensive brekfast!

Roommaid left a wet cleaning towel in the room. Used coffee cups were not changed. We had to use the old ones, cleand up by ourself. Same situation with the glases.

Good room, free wifi, hot shower, everything you will need in a hotel.

Location a bit far.

The hotel is very clean, I booked 4 rooms all of which were in a clean and tidy state. The hotel also boasts a nice outdoor area and guest access to public outdoor pools which are to the rear.

I stayed in this hotel 3 years ago when it was run by another hotel chain and was faultless. However on this occasion I was somewhat disappointed to find my rooms weren't ready upon arrival. Check in began at 14:00 and as I was on a cycling trip I didn't arrive until after 18:00 and it had gone 19:00 by the time our rooms were ready.

It was close to a place where I had a conference. Room was big.

From my perspective it is little bit expensive, so value for money is not the best.

Its about a 25min walk into Dam square if you cut through Westerpark which is quite pleasant to walk through.
