Comfortable, well-equipped, design room. Very professional and kind reception team. Free wi-fi not always working properly. Old TV-set (you could expect a flatscreen in a 4 stars hotel). But the main problem remains the cleanliness of the rooms. Being in a smoking room, the sofa and the walls were covered with cigarette stains & holes. I also found packs of cheese and ham in the minibar, left by the previous visitors. After 2 days, they were still there... |

nice hotel. Not a great location. Quite a way from central train station. On a bus route. It just seems to be out of the central tourist district, which I suppose is good for some things and not so good for others. Staff was very friendly The only thing that was 'bothersome' was the all glass bathing area. My teenage daughter was a bit uncomfortable having to shower in an area with no privacy from the others in the room. |

Size of the room, smiling & professional receptionists team. Bus (48) takes you to the city center every 10 minutes (every 15 minutes in the evening). Cleanliness of the room could be better (dust, cigarette stains on the sofa...) |

rooms were in the new building and were simply perfect. Quiet, comfortable, what more can I say? The breakast was mediocre: scrambled eggs: cold, coffee: lukewarm, bread: spongy factury stuff... This was a missed opportunity to make this my favorite hotel in Amsterdam. |

Changed my booking from Ibis Hotel to G.Tulip, thinking on a better service and confort. This was a very bad choice. At G.Tulip we had bad service, and cleanliness was bad. Piles of dirty sheets and bottles of beer in the corridor floor all day round. Breakfast was very bad for the money (15 euros), and again we had breakfast with dirty tables, and leftovers in the floor. |

The bathroom and design of the room The mattresses were too soft and very uncomfortable and they kept coming apart. The heating did nt work. Blood stain on one mattress. No mattress protecors were used. The blinds in the room let in too much light. The room did not reach our 4* expectations. |

The hotel staff is extremely friendly. This is probably our 18th visit to Amsterdam and we have always stayed in the centre, in tiny rooms at 4-5 star hotels. Therefore, it was stunning to see the size of the room, which is brand new, with a huge desk. Both of us could easily work at the desk, and when we asked for an extra chair (on wheels) it was brought to the room within 10 minutes. Our room could be converted into a suite with a thin partition between it and the next room. This means that we could hear every word spoken in the other room (only ocupied on our last day). We complained about bad beef in the hotel restaurant, and they offered no compensation. Only these two things, otherwise an absolutely unforgettable weekend in this lovely, modern hotel. |

Wasn't as close to downtown as mentioned, plus the shower of our room wasn't very clean. Pretty dirty and should be sealed new with silicon. But either then that the room was nice. |

The room was very spacious and relaxing. I was not impressed with the buffet breakfast there were no bacon or sausages as advertised and the hash browns were a little on the burnt side therefore we did not return for breakfast the following day. |

Modern and attractive hotel with good facilities and well sized rooms. Though not in the very centre of Amsterdam it was onlyy 10 minutes away with a very frequent bus service. |
