The Novotel Den Haag World Forum is above the World Forum (Dutch convention center). The beach in Scheveningen and central The Hague are easily accessible by public transportation.
Score from 612 reviews Very good 8.1/10
This ibis is in the heart of The Hague, a quarter mile from the Binnenhof. Scheveningen beach is only 10 minutes away by car.
Score from 1681 reviews Very good 8/10
Just around the corner from the Binnenhof, the Holiday Inn is a modern hotel with business center and free Wi-Fi. The rooms have a flat-screen TV, desk and a city view.
Score from 1633 reviews Excellent 8.8/10
Van der Valk hotel Den Haag Wassenaar is in a central location between The Hague and Scheveningen. The hotel provides free parking and free Wi-Fi for guests.
Score from 822 reviews Very good 8.1/10
The staff provides a perfect service. The hotel is excellent.
It's a pity that the Jazz pub is not open anymore.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, fast wi-fi in the room. Tram station is 3 mins away
In my opinion the hotel is far from the beach if you have to use a public transport
Great staff, great hotel facilities
hotel Car parking is expensive
Nice hotel, central location, good breakfast. For a special price would stay there again.
Parking fee is to high, in nearby you can find free parking slot without problem if you can walk few minutes. On sunday we had too crowdy breakfast, everyone seems wanted to have it between 9 and 10AM
The breakfast was a total mess, without organization and with people in corridors and conference rooms.
The calmness and tranquillity.
The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. I left a book in the hotel and they posted it back to me which was greatly appreciated. The went out of their way to help people.
The hotel is quite dated and the rooms were small for the price. The wifi logged out continuously.
Location of hotel, general comfort of rooms and helpfulness of staff.
No issues under this section
clean room, nice view, tram to Scheveningen or into the city center The Hague were nearby, friendly staff
I had the impression that the breakfast menu on Sunday were the left over from the week. A lot of things we could have for breakfast were not offered on Sunday anymore.
Service and room excellent. Easy to find and park. Public transport easy to take.
Parking and breakfast way too expensive. no food/drink to take away around (unless we just did not find it)
Hotel is comfortable and clean, staff is friendly, we had a good stay!
the room was quite small, bathroom looked a bit out dated (room 2nd floor)
For the price they charge, the hotel should at least provide coffee in the morning for guests.
Not much. Room cleaning staff were friendly.
Everyone SLAMMING their door shut in the morning. The hotel looks, feels, is tired. Time for a major upgrading refurbishment!
great location, good food, excellent breakfast, nice staff
wifi didn't work well in my room
- fantastic view from the room on 9th floor - Deluxe Double Room was very spacious and comfortable and not much more expensive than the standard room
- Wi-Fi in the room not always accessible - check-in was not available at 2 pm as said on the reservation
Hotel provide my fried courtesy to take shower l.
My begs were kept in the store after we checked out. When I collected the begs, extra beg was included in the group of my begs without me to realized. When I arrived Train Station I saw extra the beg which is not ours. I have yo miss my train to handle this beg. The taxi driver wanted Euro 30 to return beg to the hotel, but I did not trust the driver, I decided return the beg my self to hotel. I requested the hotel to compensate me a round trip taxi cost but they throw blame on me. Customer intimacy is poor, booking. Com should not deal with this hotel. I will never book again for this hotel.
Good, confortable, clean and big room. Nice staff. The tram is near. Supermarket and pizza shop are 10 minutes walking.
Maybe the style of the rooms need to be updated but is OK. A bit far from the center.
The staff made the stay incredible. They always went above and beyond. The hotel room was large, and very comfortable. Easy access to public transport, lots within a five minute walk.
The room was a little dirty when we arrived. Crumbs on the floor, sticky residue on nightstand. We brought it to their attention and they told care of it right away.
the internet connection was very poor. The hotel room was quite aged. Location is quite far from the center of town. No coffee or tea facilities in the room, not even a bottle of water. Highly overated and priced for a mediocre hotel room. Much better hotels available in den hag for a better price, facilities and location.
Furniture, restaurant menu
- Nothing in particular stood out
- 170 euros per night, 20 euros for breakfast, 20 euros for parking but no basic facilities such as a water cooker, coffee, etc. - Price quality ratio is way off here. Hotel does not deserve more then 3 starts - Staff repeatedly seems arrogant - My wife arrived earlier then me. Kept her waiting in the lobby for 40 minutes untill i arrived because they doubted she was indeed one of the 2 people part of the booking (???). - It is currently world cup hockey in the hague. The entire hotel smells like sweat, hockey players sleep randomly on the floor in the hotel and long dirty socks, shoes and shirts are all over the place in the halway. After i complained i was told they couldnt do much. I did find a letter under the door with apologies and that they took action but when i checked the hallway i didn't see much of a difference. Strongly overpriced and underperforming hotel.
Would be good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. UK hotels always do this but hotels outside the UK don't. Seems very strange to me.
Staff was friendly and accomodating. They warned me that the internet would be slow because of all the World Cup Hockey players and they were right. Good location europol, but not for anything else.
You're a bit isolated at this location, not near the center of town. The hotel rooms feel dated, like they need an upgrade.
