Hotel Corona is a 4-star deluxe hotel where classical and modern styles are combined. The 36 comfortable, cosy rooms, including 4 suites, are all equipped with modern facilities.

Food & beverage

Elegance and culinary refinement in the heart of The Hague. You cannot wish for a better location. Cafe Restaurant Corona is located in the centre of The Hague, next to the Buitenhof, and 2 steps from the government buildings of the Binnenhof.

The setting is very special, on the ground floor of the three 17th century buildings. Cafe Restaurant Corona is stylish, with a large winter garden that looks out onto the square, and in the back there is a glass wall through which the guest can observe the chefs.

On the menu, you will find classy sandwiches and soups, and there is an extensive lunch available. It is an ideal location for those on business or on a shopping spree. It is possible to dine here on request.

No wonder that this restaurant is part of the Chagall Hotels and Restaurants, which has the motto: "Where fine dining makes the difference."

Because of the authentic character of the building, all rooms are different.

The single rooms are equipped with a French bed and double rooms are equipped with twin beds.

Location

Staff was not sufficiently responsive.For example a call to the front desk from the room went unanswered.But a call then placed on on outside line was immediately answered.

Stylish decor in the ground floor with a nice bar overlooking the square. The hotel is quiet as it is set on a pedestrianised square.

The location was excellent, room good, staff helpful, plentiful and various breakfast

The breakfast was very good. The hotel lobby and restaurant were clean.

The room cleanliness was totally not related to a 4 star hotel. The floor was really dirty, the paper on the wall was falling at some place. The room was very hot and there was no air conditionning.

Location, small size of hotel, practical room e,g, bathroom although odd colour combination had enough storage space, helpful staff at reception, feeling of gezelligheid, nice breakfast in very pleasant dining room, slightly old-fashioned but with character

Would be improved by free internet, an extractor fan in the bathroom, kettle in the bedroom, and different window opening as we had to have the whole window fully open for fresh air, but meanwhile the area is quite noisy

The location of the hotel was good, it's a beautiful place. It has a special atmosphere due to the age of the building, for example I liked the old "retro" elevator.

The room had no air-conditioning. The bathroom was a bit old-fashioned.

Even that there are many restaurants nearby, restaurant closes at 19:00 an no roomservice afterwards

The staff were very friendly and efficient.

I have stayed at the Corona a couple of times over the past months and the rooms have got progressively worse. In the last, the wallpaper was peeling off at just about every join, the carpet was threading at the edges and was not too clean, and I found a pair of tights in the wardrobe from the previous visitor. Don't even start me on the 1970s bathroom, unless retro shabby is the new modern. Not good enough.
