Golden Tulip Mastbosch Hotel  

We used this hotel as our home base for four days while we travelled to Rotterdam, Bergen-Op-Zoom, Brussels and Bruges. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet with excellent walking trails. Staff were helpful and we enjoyed the food. Good value.

Small room was cery small, ok if travell alone and just want to spleep in the room, which was fine for me.

The room was dark and in need of re-decorating and it was poorly furnished, the matress was too soft. The television was small and of an old style.

Location.

Hotels needs a fresh-up. Rooms look very old. Very small room.

I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, good food and always cheerful staff. I also enjoy the slightly 'old world' feel of a stay here

Several people using their mobile phones in the restaurant is a big annoyance.

The hotel is somewhat old and needs maintenance, but the rooms are fine. Unfortunately, the window of our room did not close well and the room was filled with smoke from the fire outside. This was very unpleasant for me (slightly asthmatic). I asked for another room but the staff showed me a much smaller and unpleasant room. The next morning a new staff member apologized and gave me a discount on the room price. This was kind, but it would haven been much better to have a nice and clean room.

The forrest, red squirrels and excellent staff who went out of their way to help.

rooms are small, desperately need repair. Soundproofing - well, there is none. rooms are from the 70´s. No computer with internet access available to guests.

Quite location on edge of forest and not too far from city centre.

Good solid Hotel with good food and quiet location..

The staff were very friendly, but appeared to be poorly managed.

The bathroom was dirty and had not been properly cleaned. The restaurant took 3 hours to supply a simple meal.

Personeel was onvriendelijk. Terwijl bruiloft nog druk gaande was konden wij om 23:30 aan de bar eigenlijk geen drankje meer krijgen want ze waren aan het afsluiten. Ook uitchecken ging niet heel vriendelijk, kortaf en ongeinteresserd.

Plezierige ontvangst en bediening. Uitstekende koffie. Gezellig lunchen.

Matrassen wat hard en "zweterig". Zit er een plastic couver op de matras? Lijkt een beetje op een ziekenhuis bed.

Das Ambiente ist gut.

Een gezellig sfeervol hotel. Mooi karakteristiek oud met prima moderne badkamer en goede bedden. Lekker ontbijt.

Kundigheid personeel. Ligging mooi tussen stad en bossen. Grote kamer. Mooie ruime douche

Zeer eenvoudige kamer. Wat verouderd. Weinig ruimte rond ontbijtbuffet.

2nachten geweest, maar de handdoeken waren niet ververst. Bed niet opgemaakt.

La situation face à la forêt, en fait juste la situation!!!!!!

Pas de produits dans la salle de bains, pour un soi-disant 4 étoiles, c'est scandaleux!!!! Le petit déjeuner était médiocre, limite pas très frais. Le personnel n'est pas spécialement sympathique.... On est loin d'un vrai 4 étoiles! Pour moi 2 étoiles, tout au plus!

Een mooie kamer met uitzicht op het bos.

De badkamer zat vol schimmelplekken en de voegen van de tegels in het bad waren oranje van de zeepresten . De badakamer is erg toe aan een opknapbeurt.

Goed parkeren, gezellig restaurant ernaast, prima dame achter de balie

dat er een gezin met een huilend kind in de kamer naast ons was geplaatst. We konden ons niet voorstellen dat het hotel vol was en vroegen ons wel af waarom een baby dan niet wat geïsoleerder wordt geplaatst. We hebben zelf vier jonge kinderen en waren een nachtje weg, dan word je niet erg blij van een huilend kind :(
