Very clean, very friendly, great location

Sound insulation between rooms not great

The location is great. It is right in the town centre.

The sound proof was poor. We got awaken by the church bells (rings every half an hour) and some chainsaw noises in the early morning right next to our window. First night the beds were not comfortable, there are twin beds one is lower than another with gap in between. A rope was trying to tire two beds together but did not work well. A new bed was put in during our stay, the second night was better.

The friendliness, approachability and enthusiasm of the staff. The comfortable beds and the rooms generally. The fantastic location.

Nice and quiet at night despite being located at the very centre of town. The guesthous is located at the centre of all pedestrian and shopping areas. The staff is very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. No need to park the car, there's a valet service for that. Just pull up in front of the door. Well, I write "just" ... Breakfast is brought to the room, that's the only option. You get what I'd call a pretty good continental breakfast. The rooms are very spacious, (and very clean and well lit), and the shower has thermostatic taps so you don't need to keep fiddling to keep the water temperature steady. I found the room temperature to be a bit low on arrival, but winding the thermostat up a few notches soon brought in tropical temperatures which was a great help overcoming the discomforts of this cold I've now had for weeks. Highly recommended.

Every attempt has been made to annoy drivers who want to make it into the centre where the guesthouse is. You'll find that even a recent map in your gps will prove to be pretty useless, unless you're a local with an access badge who can sink the mobile bollards that block most of the narrow road in the centre. You can drive the car to the hotel doorstep, it's a matter of perseverance, making u-turns, ignoring your gps, and not losing your temper. Once you've succeeded, you'll be glad there's a city to enjoy with virtually no traffic getting in the way of the pedestrians.

That they don't take Visa! Only accept American Express credit cards, and because my debit cards are Visa, they wouldn't work either. Really don't understand why when I'd used all my cards at other venues around the city the whole time we were away with no problems. Luckily I was able to use my bank card at a cash machine to settle the bill that way, but had budgeted to pay with my credit card and it could have been a bit awkward, not to say embarrassing...

Silent, comfort good location plenty of room. good breakfast.

The room was a huge surprise, for €100 we were not expecting to receive what felt like our own luxury apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, lounge and patio. The location was excellent and you couldnt find any better, just outside the front door was one of Maastrichts beautiful churches and the Vrithof square where you can find a wide variety of great pubs and restraunts as well as shops during the day. The church bells can be heard in the room but we didn't find this a problem and there was no noise heard from the pubs and restraunts across the square. A continental Breakfast cost €15pp and was served in our kitchen. Mastricht was an amazing city and for the price of this guesthouse there is no better place to stay, would recommend it to anyone and will be returning.

There was only one negative, the WiFi did not work and we urgently needed it that evening although I am sure the stff would have fixed this but we arrived late in the evening and as a guesthouse nobody was there. Thankfully we were able to pi up the open network of the bank next door from our room!

The young couple running this small hotel is very friendly. The apartment we received was a pleasant surprise. Spacious, clean, nice beds and nicely furnished. The location of the hotel is perfect. The breakfast was served in the room and was huge and delicious.

The suites were very spacious, well-furnished, well-equipped and stylish. The location was right on the main square: an easy walk to all the main sights and activities. The staff were charming and helpful.

The elevator had broken down ... my aching knees!!!!

This is a beautifully restored historic building right on the Vrijhof -- the main square in Maastricht. The rooms are completely outfitted with modern furnishings, yet the building keeps its historic character. The owners were charming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Accueil excellent, de très bons conseils, petits déjeuners succulents et frais, parking privé à disposition à deux pas de l'hôtel, possibilité d'avoir un vélo, situation géographique excellente !

le week-end de Pentecôte il y a une fête foraine sur la place qui rend difficile le moment de s'endormir.

Alles. In zo'n hotel wil ik graag te gast zijn. Het hotel is ingericht met een mooie combinatie van modern design en originele elementen. Schoon en fris. De eigenaresse is een perfecte gastvrouw.

's Morgens vroeg wakker met Loeënde Klokke ;-). Op het Vrijthof werd de kermis opgebouwd. Het mooie plein was daardoor nauwelijks zichtbaar en rumoerig.

Super locatie, heel vriendelijke personeel, heerlijk ontbijt op de kamer op een leuke manier geserveerd. Volgende keer Maastricht gaat zeker weer Haas op 't Vrijthof worden.

wij werden goed ontvangen en onze auto werd weg gezet in hun privé parkeerplaat.mooie ruime kamers met zit en kook gelegenheid.het pand is in mooie oude staat gerenoveerd.Goede bedden ruime badkamer en een goed ontbijt alles vers en een persoonlijke bediening. voor ieder een beleving.

Haas is een perfect guesthouse en is mooi ingericht. Het is het een prima locatie op het Vrijthof om Maastricht te verkennen. We werden gastvrij ontvangen, auto wordt voor je weggezet en wij kregen restauranttips. Ontbijt wordt op kamer bezorgd en ziet er zeer goed uit.
