Pretty hotel with large & clean rooms. No charges for younger kids if you bring your own baby bed, neither for the breakfast.

The receptionist told us the restaurant is open until midnight but forgot to mention the kitchen closes at 20:30

Good location for waht we required. Reception was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms are adequate in size but do vary considerably - one room of the two we had was 50% bigger than the other. Breakfast was good, and entertaining - watching the repairs to the large juicing machine.

There was confusion at checkout with incorrect charges made from the restaurant - one meal not charged and the other charged twice. Took about 4 days after my return to sort out.

Very, very friendly staff who are helpfull and accomodating with any requests. Relaxing atmosphere with ample facilities. Relativley close to the lovely little town centre, clean and busy little community with a plentifull choice of good restraunts and bars. Picturesque area with the canal and all its varied boats at its centre.

Hotel is a little close to a busy motorway/road & can be at times a little noisy if you are allocated a room on that side of the hotel. Its about a 20 - 25 min walk into the local town centre.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were travelling as a family of 4 with 2 children aged 3 and 5 years. We booked 2 double rooms since this was suggested on the booking website. The lady at reception was very helpful and changed our booking so that we stayed in a 3 person bedroom, with no extra charge since we used the existing bed linen. Apparantly they are busy with renovations, the room was not renovated yet but clean and comfortable.

Breakfast is pricy but good.

The entire one day at the hotel was a very bad experience. The bathroom was atrocious, no shower-curtains, not enough bath-towels. The so-called full size beds were two twin beds put together to look like a full bed. The whole experience was very taxing.

The buffet on saturday evening is excellent, great food and a great choice of food

I forgot to asked a name a lady who worked at the bar in the morning (22/04) Without her help, I was late to very important work. My travel schedule had to change because of train accident. But, she helped to me to find a route which was quicker than my first plan. Also, told me cheap way.(If she didn't tell me, I bought with normal price) Staff at the restaurant also very kind. Dinner start from 17:00 but I had to leave at 17:30 so no time for that. So, I asked is anything I can eat this time(16:30). First answer was "No" but he asked kitchen and offer some food for me. Everybody very helpful and kind.

Nothing around the hotel but the restaurant offer me some food even between lunch and dinner time so it wasn't such a problem.

Het hotel, was authentiek ingericht en over het algemeen ben ik zeer tevreden

Niet tegengevallen, maar het was erg warm op de kamer. We konden de ramen niet open zetten omdat dan de muggen binnen kwamen. Helaas hebben ze mijn zoon toch behoorlijk te pakken gehad.

Alles netjes geregeld, schone kamer, nette badkamer, prima service

De persoonlijke bediening van Anita in de Jazz Bar voelde als een warm bad :-)

Geen zwembad. Ik had ergens gelezen dat dit wel aanwezig was. Mijn fout maar toch een tegenvaller.

Smorgens niemand bij de receptie konden niet uitcheken om6.30

Hele vriendelijke gastvrouwen. Klasse.

Vind het beetje 'somber' qua uitstraling. 1e keer vond ik het heel 'muf' ruiken, dat was nu al veel beter.

Het personeel is behulpzaam en aardig. Het ontbijt super!! Wij komen tijdens het schaatsen in Thialf.

Het ontbijt zag er netjes uit.

Het sloopafval rechts van de vijver.
