Hampshire Hotel - Delft Centre  

Staff could not do enough for me and i had been cycling for 10 hours , did not arrive till 9.30 pm but a Club Sandwich and a Beer sent up to the room was no problem for them and put my bike in storage me . Breakfast included was 10 /10

No dislikes really !

The location was perfect. We also liked the breakfast a lot.

The walls are very thin (typical Dutch) and therefore you hear neighbors, especially when they enter the room or bathroom.

Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from city center.

Breakfast room was very small compare to guests availability. Staff (waiters) was not friendly and did not help us to find a place for the breakfast. Table was left dirty.

Staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable & friendly. Loved the views to the Churches, easy walking to market square. Room was clean & comfortable. Great selection for breakfast.

Room was quite warm at night even with sliding door open.

Nice location in a 15 minutes walk distance from the central railway/tram station, rooms with superb views, friendly staff. Besides that the hotel has an excellent restaurant with live piano music and great cuisine. We've enjoyed every day of our staying in Hampshire hotel.

Lack of wifi Internet in hotel rooms (only ethernet). They have wifi in Lobby and 1st floor restaurant area though.

The staff was very professional and pleasant. The room was clean with nice view and camfortable bad.

We liked virtually everything about the hotel - its location, friendly and helpful reception staff, overall comfort and excellent breakfasts. Alongside this, we absolutely loved Delft as a city in its own right and as a base for travelling around.

The only negative issue was some aspects of the housekeeping in that our bed was not made/room not cleaned on one occasion and we had to ask for replacement soap/shower gel which had been missed.

Close to town, I liked the jazz theme, made it seem a little less sterile

Poor layout in Reception - you come into the hotel straight into a counter which is half bar / half Reception. Long queues at check-in. Staff were friendly but ineffectual - too many of them not entirely sure of what to do. Would have liked to see someone in overall control of both Reception and breakfast. Housekeeping was sloppy; coffee / tea / sugar not replenished overnight - but readily available when asked for at Reception. Room could have done with a better hoovering.

The hotel was very clean and to a high standard, the staff and location to a lovely city. excellent for a weekend break

Nearly everything

The hotel is really great value for money considering it's a 5 minute walk to the center along with breakfast. We enjoyed the room which has a large bathtub, TV and chocolate orange tea. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with ample selection and was even accompanied by a piano player. Upon arrival staff was super friendly and shook our hands across the counter, unconventional but nice. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The double bed is made of 2 twin beds.

the location was good. Rooms were good. Price nice. Breakfast good.Staff helpfull.

In the evening was it in the bar cold when a big group of tourists arrived, the outside door was constantly open.

It is a proper hotel with a 24 hour desk, unlike most other hotels in central Delft

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is very well designed and comfortable, and is located centrally. I had a very enjoyable stay.

The walls between rooms are a bit thin so there was a little noise at night now and then.

The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinly care. Although the hotel is just on the edge of the city centre, it will save you a real headache as you don't have to park next to the canals which is nerve racking. The walk to the centre is about 5/10 mins. The room was clean, the bed good and we could open the window which was nice. What I do like is that there is a flatscreen tv with little digital clock. That way I didn't have to worry about the time (hotel rooms are always dark and I don't want to wake up and turn on the light to see what time it is). Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant really looked nicely decorated as we were there for Christmas. I can only recommended this hotel fully and will certainly us them again next year.

It is a pity that there is no parking place, but the next secure parking garage is 3 min walk and not expensive.
