Nice place, quite comfortable room, friendly staff.
The hotel is next to church, t4 you can be waken up by bells. The hotel's restaurant closes quite early and if you late guest can be left without meal.
Highly recommended, the staff very helpful, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast excellent.
Amsterdam is a bit far about 15 minutes. If you have a few days far away, but worth it for the scenery and tranquility.
Location Value Breakfast Cleanliness
I loved the size of the room and it's window view of the Old Rhine..the breakfast was good but the dinner that evening was superb.good safe storage for the bikes and of course very friendly staff. The bed was super comfortable
The size of the bathroom.
comfortable beds, friendly and polite staff.
We liked the rooms, clean and fresh. And the bar facilities very nice.
Seperate beds with no possibility to put them together. We didn't know that.
Excellent restaurant. Confortable rooms
Poor parking arrangements, with no prior instruction that there was no car park. Arriving at night it was not easy to be sure what to do.
Location and environment is peaceful, beautifully calm town 32 kilometers away from Amsterdam (highway is only 5 minutes from town center). Hotel is located on main street with a rear view to a canal in which ducks and gees are partying all day long :-). Breakfast is optional and free (you have to ask if you'd like to eat.) Personel is always friendly and helpful - it's been the second time that we've been there.
Rooms may need a bit of repairs here and there, and there are not much warderobe options if you want to spend let's say 3-4 days there.
I liked the location and the peaseuful environment. Stuf very pleasant and friendly. Harmelen Village is beatiful and quite
poor breakfast for the money paid
Excellent beds, very clean, some super staff (young receptionist and bar man) and good breakfast. And thank goodness for fly screens on the window - it meant no mosquitoes. We parked right outside but we could see that during busier periods you'd have to hunt around for street side parking. A bit of a hassle but not the end of the world.
There were no tea making facilities in the room, and on the hottest day of the year it would have been great to have been offered a table fan.
The hotel nice and clean. In a beautiful area, 30 minutes from amsterdam by car, close to utrecht and gouda.
The hotel a little noisy because of a pab in the ground floor. In addition, there are lots of mosquitos in the area, which cause the stay un pleasent.
