I needed a place close to the aiport to spend the night. That's the only reason I stayed there. The hotel is not bad, but is also nothing special. But for the price I payed, is was quite satisfactory. The room smells like cigarette all the time. Don't no why. |

It's a cheap and basic hotel with a lot of young people from all over the europe and beyond. You need just one tram (N°2, 20min) to reach the city centre reception often doesn't give an answer to e-mails, the cleaning of the rooms is sometimes very superficial |

Clean rooms and some with air-conditioning. Cheap price. Public transportation (tram) quite near. Private parking. Our second time at this hotel and would go again inspite of some faults. Hotel needs full renovation. Expensive breakfast. Showers are very poor -cold water that goes all over the place. Make sure you'll be placed at the main building instead of the annex. |

It does not reach hotel standard. Staffs have no name tag, no uniform, impolite even rude. I never heard any phases of "may I" "would you" " you are welcome". I did not see any staff smile. Iron boards along the hall way. Hand written words on door frame. Cigarette buds outside the room window. Window could not be opened as anyone could climb in from the platform easily.Lift glass crakes.....etc. |

The closeby shopping center and the tram station. The price is very good. The rooms are neat and clean. The staff was unfriendly. The showers overflowed with water and the staff didnt do anything about it. No air-conditioning so it was really hot. The hotel is far from city center so you have to spend on transport. |

The room was big and clean. The staff is extremely rude. First of all we were told that our reservation does not exist. We were not told why. The rude lady kept on asking (shouting at) us if our reservation was for 6 days. Thats why! Thats why! We didn't understand the "thats why." Nowhere does it say if you book a room for 6 nights, there would be a problem. After making us wait for like a half an hour, she finally "agreed" that we have a reservation. The next problem was that air conditioning was very poor. We were feeling very hot all night. Unfortunately the rooms do not have openable windows. So you have to rely on air conditioning. The suction vent in the bathroom is very poor. It takes hours to clear steam after a shower. The tv was not working properly. It switch sound On and off as per its wish. The guy "fixed" it and it made no difference. Breakfast is very expensive 13 euro. The location isn't very appealing. Its in an area where primarily immigrants live. You can see many drunk, dangerous people around. Definitely not safe for women. The minibar was not working. The walls are paper thin. You can hear shower, basin water running everywhere. |

There is a little garden at the front where you can spend some relaxing time in the evenings. The size of the room was just fine, the staff at reception and in the kitchen was really helpful. The city centre is easily accessible with tram no. 2. We missed a little fridge from the room, furthermore we asked for non-smoking room, however received a smoking one. The cleaning staff left their trollies and clening products in the way in the corridor. |

comfortable beds, and friendly front desk personnel No towels when arrived in room and then housekeeping wouldn't change them, our room didn't have A/C but had a window not worth much on Hot days, there was a noticeable difference where the A/C stopped and the Sauna began when walking to the far side of the building where our room was. Oh, and a smell in the bathroom...moldy |

There wasn't anything positive about this hotel. The staff wasn't friendly, the room was a disaster , the lights didn't work, We asked for 1 big bed , we had 2 separate beds. The bathroom was even a bigger disaster, the shower was broken, the tiles were broken, the shower door didn't close properly the towels were from 50 years ago. The room had a odd smell. I wouldn't advice it for anyone. |

Hotel was a short walk to metro station and 15 min ride to downtown. Hotel staff was accommodating when I needed to change rooms because mine smelled of smoke. Old bathrooms, showerhead was too far up to wash very well. Not located in the best neighborhood, but we didn't fear for our safety although we did try to return to the room before dark. |

A typical international hotel about 15 minute tram ride from city centre. Our 4th floor room was beside the noisy air-conditioning units. |

A friendly staff member (the tall guy) was nice and allowed us to change room after we found out that they assigned us to a smoking room. The room was adequate. Location was ok -- five minute walk from the closest tram station...which takes 10 minutes to get you to the center of Amsterdam. Expensive for the ambience. We found the hallway noisy throughout the night. a rude staff member (dark-haired, not tall) assigned us the wrong room (smoking -- we specifically booked a non-smoking room) .. and acted like we were pests when we asked for a map ... only a map, not even any suggestions or directions. |

For the price I was surprised at the quality of the hotel. We had a very nice stay. Staff was great and the rooms were nice. Within walking distance to the tram for a ride to the city. We had a family of 6, stayed in 2 rooms. One was a 2 person and it had AC. The other was a four person and no AC so it was a bit warm in that one. Overall not a huge deal. |
