Lovely surroundings. Clean and comfortable. Large family room. Dinner available. Very friendly staff
A great location for families and horse enthusiasts but a bit out in the sticks. 12 bedroom B&B with the rooms above an equestrian centre. Oppertunities for guests to view and ride horses is so wish. Lovely to wake up, open curtains and look down into the stables and riding centre. Good breakfast taken in the bar area looking out onto riding lessons. Nice!!
Stairs leading upstairs very steep with a twist. Not suitable for ealderly or disabled guests and dont have heavy luggage to carry up. Main corridor to rooms smelt of the stables but no smell in the rooms.
Very comfortable room/bed.Food excellent, served with care.
A sat-nav friendly address online would help.Going by the information given,it took an hour of frustration to find it.
- Pleasent treatment from staff: always ready to help customers - cleanliness of the whole facility - very good rooms - wide range of options to spend free time
The staff was fantastic! The hotel is beautiful! We had a lovely time!
The staff, the room and the athmosphere (horses).
Just needed a comfortable bed for the night in a clean room for a budget and got EXACTLY that. I think the place is only a couple of years old, bedroom comfortable, bathroom excllent and a very good price expecially as I had an evening meal and breakfast too.
Really great hotel , with fantastic staff and excellent service
There was nothing not to like ...
One of my most favorite in the world, peaceful, clean and refreshing.
I liked the location and the set up of the hotel since their facilitates horse riding and horse riders, but it is CERTAINLY not a horse riding hotel and a hotel for ALL. Would certainly come again.
I really like this unusual hotel. Lovely location in the countryside, and very nice modern rooms. Staff very friendly and greeted me by name (my third stay)
Staff and service superb . Family rooms excellant
Bed Shower Cleanliness Staff
the smell of hay in the bathroom the temperature in the room (could not open a window)
A quiet (in November) and very pleasant rural location. Peaceful and comfortable room with aircon and an interesting view of working stables, which could also be viewed from the bar/restaurant. Enjoyed the bar and the food served, which was good and plentiful. Bike rental was appreciated. It's just an easy 25min (or less) ride through some lovely countryside into Drunen. This hotel is simply a nice place to be, which (off season at least) enjoys a very restful ambiance.
Being committed to a particular breakfast booking time? Though I imagine this might just be done when there are only a few guests staying, in which case I can accept that, but can't say I like it. I felt I was being told off when I turned up for a breakfast at 8:30 that had been booked for 8:00? If e.g. it had been booked early for 6:30 and I turned up two hours later I can understand the inconvenience, but to bother me over a 30min difference, at that time, on a Saturday morning, seemed rather unnecessary? Note: apart from this I found the staff to be excellent.
Great location near the dunes and forest, perfect for running Great, friendly staff Rooms are beautiful and spacious, with lovely furniture and bathrooms. Good free wifi Beer excellent
Minor point - dinner could have been a little warmer
Perfect quiet place to stay with great view outside. Our rooms were wonderful and fully equipped (even the floor on the bathroom was heated). The staff were helpful and answered all of our questions fully. The breakfast was great, satisfying and with fair price. The hotel has a stable so if you like to ride horses it can be arranged for you.
The attention to detail and finished quality here, demonstrates the passion the owner of this hotel has for his establishment. An excellent location too. One of those rare pleasures to come across as a regular hotel user.
A brand new hotel with horse riding facilities in a beautiful location. Incredible value for money, friendly staff, will definitely come back. Lovely restaurants and great cycle routes nearby
The hotel is located inside the national park, making it a great base for cycling and walking. Staff were friendly and made an effort to understand us, though we did not speak Dutch and they did not all speak English. The bar downstairs serves food relatively cheaply, which is good as the nearest restaurants would otherwise be some distance away.
Breakfast was not included and was rather expensive, so we did not use this service. The bedroom had a window out into the stables, which is good if you like horses. It was interesting to watch and well-soundproofed so not a problem for us.
Very friendly staff that make you feel at home. Very clean and commodious room, nicely designed.
It would be nice if the room will have mini refrigerator , important thing when you visit with little children.
