Herbergh Hotel Amsterdam Airport    

We stayed at the Herbergh Hotel in 2006. We were pleased with the Hotel and the location on both of our visites.

Very friendly and efficient staff. They made us feel at home. It's a very nice hotel with good connectivity to the airport. The attached Italian restaurant serves delicious pizzas, even for Vegetarians!

Two restaurants on site. Staff very accomodating. Easy walk to Novotel for free shuttle service to Schiphol. Located close to airport but next to residential area so walking around was nice.

Best feature of the hotel was the restaurant and pizzeria. You could not fault the food. Best food in the area. I booked 4 rooms for a group. Rooms were fine, although mine was the only one that was dusty and a spider was hanging from the ceiling! The bathroom was modern although strangely the water in the shower sometimes ran a quick burst of cold rather than a steadily warm flow. Free wifi in the rooms and free parking was a bonus as you pay for this in most other places. As well as the free wifi the hotel also had a computer you could use for free.

Room was dusty but not a big deal given all the good points about this place

The shuttle I was supposed to go on wold not let me on, and the next one either- I ended up waiting out in the cold for an hour and it was late. I will probably choose another hotel next time because that was REALLY inconvenient

A little Gem among the the big chain hotels. Personal attention,even small welcoming and departing gifts Wonderful breakfast. Clean room.

No elevator but was helped with our luggage by front desk staff. Free shuttle, Novotel had to walk about half a block to hotel.

The room is ok for two, but feels quite crowded if add one more bed. the room in the road side is quite loud in the evening.

Ads did not mention that there was no elevator. Ads say free shuttle to airport but not the fact that you have to walk well over a block to catch the shuttle.

Very small rooms, too expensive for the facilities offered, poor breakfast

comfortable bed, excellent food, lovely French style restaurant, simple Italian restaurant, excellent pasta ! Plenty of it! Very friendly approachable staff. Easy access to free shuttle from Novotel to airport.

Shuttle service worked well and the latest one from schiphol to the hotel was at 00:45 which is late enough. Staff were nice. Room was comfortable and clean. Comfortable bead and nice flat-screen tv. Breakfast was nice. Good value for money. I thank my wife for booking me this hotel.

The following comments were irrelevant for me but should be taken in account for some travelers: The shuttle takes you to novotel so you have to walk 300-400 meters from novotel to herberg. No elevator (again, for me it was no problem to walk up to the 1St floor.

Nice rooms , very well designed and comfortable

Getting there a problem because we didn't understand how the shuttle system works for this hotel. We were only there for overnight to catch a flight next day.

I was surprised to see such a good level of service, absolutery clean room and rich breakfast for that money. 10 of 10 !

Small blankets on beds. But it could be just my habit. Booking com did not provide information about free shuttle bus.

Great location - close to Schiphol airport with shuttle service. Shuttle stops at another hotel just a very short walk away. Shuttle picks up directly in front of the airport (great for air and train travellers alike) and delivers you to hotels in a short time frame. Great value for your money - onsite 2 restrurants, clean comfortable rooms - staff are friendly and accommodating.
