Clean, comfortable, new hotel build in country house style. Nice breakfast bar. Attractive area's in the bar to sit and have a drink with friends. Sound insulation of room was not sufficient. TV too small. Telephone did not work. Problem was solved after 1 hour by a waitress who remembered that a switch needed to be turned at the switchboard. |

Good hotel in its category. Large rooms. Great breakfast. Nice atmosphere. Quite noisy especially the slamming of doors. Not family friendly e.g. no extra beds. |

The non-smoking room we got did smell like cigarettes a lot. I suppose it was a smoking room before since it was not just 1 fresh cigarette. Another room was offered quick and without any objection. |

Mooi gelegen terras aan de achterkant, waar we in de avondzon goed aten. De kwaliteit van de bedden, ruime kamers en het eten wat prima is. Ook de sfeer is ontspannen. Onze kamer bleek toen we aankwamen 19.30 niet schoongemaakt. Dit zou in kwartier verholpen zijn, maar duurde meer dan een uur. Werden niet vanzelfsprekend geinformeerd of (met drankje)gecompenseerd. (drankjes wel nadat we er op vroegen). Er waren op zaterdagavond schilders aan het werk in de hal en lounge ruimte. |

Uitstekende ruime kamer en douche. Hotel is goed bereikbaar en licht mooi aan het bos. Eten en ontbijt prima. |

Goed gelegen, prettige sfeer, ruime kamer en badkamer; op zich smaakvol ingericht (niet mijn smaak). Heerlijke tuin en terras. Prettige bediening. De muziek (radio 3?) die in de eetzaal de hele dag was te horen past m.i. totaal niet bij de ambiance die het hotel uitstraalt. Waarom niet mooie klassieke of barokke muziek? Past veel beter. Ook stilte kan aangenaam zijn. |

Het was een zeer relaxed verbijf, een hotel waar het goed toeven is. Restaurant met een beperkte kaart, maar met heerlijke gerechten. Ik zal er zeker nogeens gebruiik van maken. Een van de lakens was gescheurd en het bedienend personeel moet wel een simpele vraag over het menu kunnen beantwoorden. |

De ligging van het hotel + de ambiance zagen er goed uit. Het diner was zeer matig.Kregen als compensatie een kopje koffie aangeboden van het hotel. Het Ontbijt daar in tegen was weer heel goed verzorgd. Personeel/ eigenaar niet vriendelijk, begon al bij binnenkomst, voor dat wij wat konden zeggen (wisten dat we te vroeg waren), kregen we op een bitse toon te horen dat we te vroeg waren (was ook met geen speld tussen te komen om het 1 en ander uit te leggen dat het in principe geen punt was dat we nog niet op de kamers terecht konden maar dat we alvast even kwamen kijken en wilde wachten tot de... |

Schitterende kamer, prachtig terras, goede keuken, uitstekend personeel, mooie en gezellige lobby en bar. Een parel vlakbij Markelo. Zeer aan te bevelen. |
