Our outdoor patio with its fashionable large parasols offers you a magnificent view of the woods. If you wish to explore the surroundings by bicycle, you can rent one at the reception desk. But you can also bring your own bicycle and keep it in our covered bicycle shed.

The many cycling and walking trails lead you through the countryside. Many of these trails cross the ‘Twentse Mountains’, such as Tanken Mountain,
Haken Mountain and Paas Mountain, all formed in the Ice Age.
In De Lutte itself you can enjoy the Botanic Gardens with more than 2,000 indigenous and exotic trees and shrubs. In the nature reserve Het Lutterszand, you can admire the sand-drifts along the banks of the river De Dinkel. During one of your cycling or walking trips, stop to visit one of the old crafts that are still being practised in the area, such as candle making, clog making, glass blowing and brick making.
In the fairly large city of Oldenzaal, 3 kilometres from the hotel, you will find a lively centre with two covered shopping galleries and the market square with its many cosy cafes. The larger cities of Hengelo and Enschede are also not far from De Lutte.
Germany is just a stone’s throw away from the hotel. By bicycle or car, you can reach the lovely area just across the border.
