The Holiday Inn Amsterdam located south of Amsterdam city centre is an ideal hotel for both business and leisure travellers. RAI train station is a 3-minute walk offering a direct 10-minute service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. From RAI station you can also easily catch a metro or tram to Amsterdam city centre, both only a 15-minute ride. Ajax football stadium Arena is 5 minutes by train.

The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are only a short tram ride away. Alternatively you might fancy a relaxing 30-minute walk through the popular neighbourhood “Oud-Zuid” to reach Amsterdam’s renowned museum district. You could also opt for renting a trendy Vespa scooter at reception to discover the city as a true local.

RAI Convention centre, at 600 meters, is within walking distance of the hotel. Holiday Inn Amsterdam is also close to all main offices on the “Zuid-As”, such as Ernst & Young, ING, ABN Amro, Baker & McKenzie, Akzo Nobel, Accenture and the World Trade Centre.

As of spring 2007 all our 264 spacious rooms have been renovated, in addition to our comfortable and stylish lobby. Holiday Inn Amsterdam features 11 multifunctional meeting rooms, a mini-gym and a cosy bar & restaurant. Our 11 multi functional meeting- and breakout rooms can accommodate every type of event up to 450 guests. In addition we also have 8 business studios for small board meetings, which feature a panoramic view over Amsterdam.

Food & beverage

Our American themed restaurant and bar Vermont is a comfortable venue for lunch or diner, located on the mezzanine floor. Enjoy a light lunch or tasty finger food in the bar, or discover our a la carte menu full of culinary successes in the restaurant. Both restaurant and bar are decorated in a cosy log cabin style typical to the state of Vermont, New England. The bar features elegant brown Chesterfield arm chairs to lounge and enjoy a glass of whiskey.

Cosy bar with an extensive selection of whiskeys, Dutch- and international spirits. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 01.00 at night (Sat. & Sun. from 11:00).

Restaurant Vermont
Inviting and informal a la carte restaurant, opened for lunch and diner. In the morning you can enjoy an “all you can eat” American style breakfast buffet. Opening Hours: daily from 06:30 to 23:00. Please note that we are closed for lunch on Saturdays.
Breakfast buffet Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 10:30; Saturday and Sunday from 06:30 to 11:30.

Excellent restaurant, comfortable rooms, location, good service

Wifi service (Swiss.com) quite inadequate; over -expensive; erratic.Towels somewhat thin (spoils the impression); soap/shampoo also far from satisfactory.

It is a bit far from the Amsterdam city center, about 25 min using the tram.

We were upgraded and that was a lovely perk!

It was a bit far away from the city center, but it was very close to the tram line. It would have been nice to know in advance at what times the transportation stops for the night.
