Hip Hotel St. Martenslane  

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice.

The hotel was hard to find as there were no signs giving the name as The Hip Hotel. The pillows were pathetic. The gym was poor but adequate.The bathroom was badly laid out; the screen was too smal so the floor was quickly soaked. The towle rail was on the opposite side to the shower. Ther was no plug tfor the basin

We liked the room which was spacious and the design of the furniture . also the bed was good extra size and cosy. Advice; mention that hotel is assigned to the townhouse hotel which is opposite the street. .

Nice and very spacious room, very close to the railway station, quiet, clean, also very near to the city center. Reception staff was very friendly, good WI-FI signal, BBC channel.

Location close to the Central Railway Station

Strange money responsibility rested on the guests by the hotel . E.G. for one night I have to pay 77 euro. I had a 200 euro banknote with me and was canceled by the hotel staff to accept my payment because they didn't have sufficient change. I was recommended to change money at any bank. I followed this advice and paid additional 2 euro for the change operation. It could not be any guest' fault especially if somebody arrives on weekend when banks are closed.

Clean, central

I liked the rooms. Very spacious, and nice looking. Design furniture and very comfortable. The price is great, and you get great value for money. Location is ideal. Easy walk to train station and city centre. This was my second visit, and i'll highly recommend it to others

Breakfast buffet is too expensive, it's cheaper to get breakfast in city centre.

The spacious room and the 'clean', modern lines .Nice bed.

The garage door next door which is a shutter and makes noise when it open and closes.

It was near to the train station which was easy to locate. The room was quite spacious.

There was a red light in my room. I thought this was inappropriate. I also found it strange the reception and staff were based in the hotel over the road. It felt like you were intruding on the other hotel as opposed to have a welcome for the Hip Hotel I was staying in. I also thought that it was too expensive for what it was. I had also asked for a non smoking room however it was clear from the smell someone had been smoking in there.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The location is also very nice, it is very close to Maastricht mainstation and also close of the centre. The hotel location it allows us travels to visit other areas of the city behond the city centre.

The breakfast price makes no sense at all. We did not pay for it because it is too expensive for a low cost hotel.

Bijzonder vriendelijk en persoonlijk onthaal! Je voelt je meer dan welkom .Dichtbij station en dichtbij stadscentrum. Mooie, grote, nette kamer.

Een champagneontbijt zonder champagne was wel even een tegenvaller....
