Hotel Di-Ann is a fascinating historic canal house, that offers a view along the charming canals of Herengracht and Keizersgracht.

The City Hotel Amsterdam includes a complimentary breakfast and is just over a quarter mile from the Central Train Station. Its 18th-century building gives the hotel a characteristic atmosphere.

breakfast was lovely. bed was very comfortable. staff where very friendly. location is amazing
lots of stairs and we where on the top floor. All hotels are the same though.
Great location and Kind staff.
Too small room and bathroom at 4th floor with very steep stairs. Small bed (not double bed). If there's a lot of wind, window creaks. Cleaning not good (the bathroom trash contained waste from previous guests). Poor sweet breakfast.
Breakfast. Complemented coffee between 9am to 9pm.
Small room and very small bathroom with out lock.Very Steep stairs.
The room was simple but very comfortable and cosy. Our private bathroom was spotless clean. Lovely canal view. Breakfast was good with a nice variety to choose from and the breakfast room was very nice. All the main sights are within short walking distance from the hotel so we had no need to take the tram or any other form of transport. The longest walk we had was to the Rijksmuseum and it was around 15 minutes. The hotel has a perfect location in a quiet street. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
The stairs are steep to the third floor but this is to be expected in a traditional canal house.
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good.
The place is very rundown and poorly furnished. Carpeting is bare, stairs are extremely steep and dangerous. There is no lift. Extremely noisy bathroom fan. Shower has no stall, only a curtain to separate it from the rest of the tiny bathroom. Two card table chairs and a tiny table were all the additional furniture besides the beds. Dismal room, all and all.
Staff are very helpful. Good wifi connection, big space, close to all the sightseeing spot.
The carpet on the floor.
steep stairs, no lift!
The location was great, the continental breakfast was also great.
Excellent friendly& helpful staff A1
Rooms are very very old - out dated and over priced for what you get.
We liked he location and opportunity to stay in an old canal-side building with it's very steep winding stairs. The room and bathroom were quite adequate with all that we needed as well as being very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and more than we expected. Staff were extremely helpful, checking things on the internet and able to give relevant information. Discount cards available for many attractions. Very good value.
Quirky canal house with view over the canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location with everything within easy walking distance. Perhaps could do with some updating but just added to the character. Had everything we needed for a weekend break.
Friendly staff. Very good location of the hotel. Quite good breakfast.
Except from the bathroom, the room was dirty enough to see mice in the night. Also below the bed sheet was dry blood. It was very disgusting. Additionally, there wasn't elevator, just very steep stairs.
Friendly and Helpful staff
The room was not clean
The staff were very helpful. The apartment was big, and stocked well. It was in a good location as well
There was no lift, and we were on the last floor. So we had to carry our luggage up the steep stairs (which are typical in Dutch houses)
Very good location in the Center city Nice hospitality. bike renting from the hotel .walking distance all around Amsterdam city .
i was in the top floor and the stairs were very steep but this is a typical Dutch Home.
We took an apartment for four people, a spacious apartment. Equipped with all you need, the furniture looks new. Central location, 10 minutes' walk from Dam Square. Excellent staff helped us with everything we asked for.
Narrow stairs and dangerous! Wireless Internet causing trouble sometimes. Thin walls, if you have trouble sleeping with the sound of jumping so do not take a room here or Lsks the top floor.
The location was very good and we had a room with a view of the canal.
We were on the third floor with steep flights of stairs. Doubt this hotel would pass health and safety rules in the case of a fire.
Location Good value for money Clean, basic but adequate facilities. Helpful friendly staff
Apartment kitchen facilities were slightly dated and lacked a toaster, toilet was slow to drain, but generally our stay was excellent.
Old and noisy apartment, at the moment we arrive the place were dirty, the bath had not soup, and the wifi does not work propertly. I do not recommend it at all
- take the room on the last floor with a view to the canal - romantic -bathroom is tiny but very functional and new design. -great location!!! directly at Ann Frank House and fnear the flower marke
- noise from street at night can bother you
Location was the best!
Wi-fi wasnt the fastest, but working
Excellent Location Spacious room
I didn't like the fact that my friends and I had to kill three rats in our apartment and the hotel didn't even compensate us for it. They said they had traps laid out, which clearly didn't work, and that the City has a rat problem so they didn't even offer to compensate us.
Great location. Walking distance to the Red light district, Central station, Anne Frank House, Dam square... Close to trams stops. Great staff, always friendly and polite. Nice breakfast. Beautiful view of Singel canal.
Watch out for the stairs, although not a problem. Couldn't easily open the window.
Great localization, very nice and helpfull personel, room clean and tidy
