Good breakfast Near the centre Friendly personal
Don't accept credit card Don't work batteries(from time to time) Simple room(Minimum of furniture: 2beds,1table,1mini bookcase, don't have coatrack
location, bed, keys to take with you and come back whenever you want, silent neighborhood and friendly staff :)
Room with a shower gets 1 WC (shared between four rooms) in which you cannot turn around or walk in in the first place (much smaller than telephone booth). Next door two rooms without shower have bigger WALK in toilet and giant in comparison shower to share. ??
not a bad area, but still not downtown
we payed for 5 people while we were just 3, too expensive for what it offers stoned staff no bathroom at the room no towels
breakfast was simple but good. staff were friendly and helpful.
Excelent ubication, good staff service
Breakfast only offers café o tea, i dont drink anyone, fue house admit yo smoke, so somethimes smells mariguana, the bed wasnt clean of the previous users
Loved the all day free coffee. Breakfast was quality and bed comfortable. Staff very cool
Great staff and well priced good basic accommadation
Shared toilets even though we had our own bathroom
Very good staff, cheap, good location, wi fi.
The staff were really helpful told us were was good to go and helped in every way possible, rooms were clean and we couldn't have asked for more for our money.
The stairs are like hiking up a mountain but it was just something to laugh about to be honest didn't cause any problems
Very help full staff, basic but clean hotel great value for money.
The location is excellent! Nice neighborhood - oasis in the centre of town!
staff are nice with excellent location, 1 minute from business school uva.
wifi and no private toilet
Loved Kelly who worked there, she was so friendly, approachable and willing to help with anything. Our room was a nice size and even had a balcony! Free WiFi throughout the hotel, free pool table and kitchen facilities available for all guests.
Walls were thin so could hear other guests early in the morning
quiet neigbourhood, near botanic garden, but close to the center; tidy hotel with extremely friendly staff
breakfast was not very good comparing to other hotels
Really good staff, thank you!
Not a lot of choice for breakfast
Staff is great. Both in the morning and afternoon. Walking distance to all major atractions but in a quiet neiborhood.
The toilet is the smallest i ve ever been. I took a picture of it.
the location was good about 10 minutes walking from Dam Square. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was a selection of bread and meats, cold boiled eggs and two types of cereal. Milk, juice and tea/coffee and toasters.
This was not a hotel more of a hostel. The rooms seemed clean but we did find some property from previous guests under the bed. The furniture was very basic just a wooden cupboard with a hanging rail but there was a safe in the room. The person I shared with suffered from insect bites as did others in the party staying in other rooms in the accomodation. However I was fine. The showers were fairly clean but the steps were extremely steep and somewhat windy.
Location to public transport.
Having to move rooms. No light in upstairs bathroom. No wifi in rooms.
Comfortable hostel in a good location (about a 15-20 minute walk from Dam Square) in a very safe area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Only problem is that the stairs are extremely steep with tiny steps, especially considering we had to take heavy backpacks up to the 3rd floor. This isn't an issue because every single building in Amsterdam is like this.
very friendly stuff in all 24hr shifts good location interesting guests breakfast included
it has a good location for the price, the bikes they rented were pretty good, the wi-fi worked well. the breakfast was ok, even thought they only had to coffe and milk to drink. there isn't that much noise, and the beds were okay.
the room was not properly cleaned, the stairs were almost vertical to the point were they were scary to go down. the smell of weed from the other rooms got in our room almost every night.
the location is not bad, 2 stops from the central station by subway.
Stuff there are not very friendly, shared toilet and the bathroom are not very clean. Windows in the bathroom are not closed which make me feel quite cold when taking the shower and the temperature of the shower water is not stable. Besides, facilities in the hotel are old, and the wifi only works by connecting with your facebook again and again. Overall, both me and my boyfriend think it seems to be a "hostel" .
The staff from the afternoon and evening were great, very helpful and knew everything about the city. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes from a tram station, around 10 minutes from Dam Square.
The "shared toilet" situation is quite uncomfortable, specially since the toilet can barely fit an adult. The breakfast was quite poor, as the staff from the morning didn't seem too preoccupied in setting it up properly.
Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly clean ( esp for a shared bathroom). Not too far away from the centre.
One of the staff members ( the guy with the glasses) was very rude. He was very dismissive whenever we had any questions.
Very comfortable room, nice building
Shared toilets and showers
