The rooms are large and the hotel is quite close to the airport. The hotel is not so close to the city center. You can take bus 145 (the bus stop is very close to the hotel) and be in the city center in 15 minutes, but there are only 2 buses per hour during the day. Another option is to take tram 2 (the tram stop is not so close to the hotel, it is a 10 min walk) but it is much slower than bus 145.

We arrived in Amsterdam late at night so I choose this hotel because it is close to the airport and the bus stop is just opposite the hotel. This meant to us that we didnt have to navigate the streets of Amsterdam during the evening and we could just relax and prepare for the following day. The hotel is quite modern with great facilities. Loved the ice machine next to the elevator. The tram line was a 10 minute walk which directly takes you to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. The last tram from the centre is at midnight. The design of the room was very modern and quite spacious. Loved that it had an ironing facility in the room. I thought the cleanliness of our room was ok. For a 4 star hotel it could be alot better. When we arrived, the bed looked like someone else had used it (the bed was not made properly). The pillows were old and lumpy. The design of the bathroom was poor that evrytime you have a shower you create a mini pond on the bathroom floor. I noticed that the water glass I used the night before was not replaced nor cleaned and it was made to look that it was. Also didnt like the extra charge of a city tax when we checked out even though on my reservation printout from booking.com stating that my hotel reservation and payment includes the city tax.

I really liked the area it was in all you had to do was walk approx. 10 mins to the nearest tram stop and catch tram 2 in to the centre of Amsterdam. I liked it because after a busy day in the centre of amsterdam it was nice to come back to a quiet area. Plus I was only about 20 mins from the airport and was able to catch 195 to and from the airport. Amsterdam and the public transport and this hotel are all wheelchair friendly so I would say if you have someone in a wheelchair go there your friend will never feel like a burden because there are so many people willing to help. The thing I did not like was the cost of the breakfast but you can eat as much as you wanted and after the first day I ate breakfast in the centre of amsterdam which is much cheaper but it is your choice. I would say that this hotel was all about pleasing there guests.

The hotel was clean for the most part. A bit far from the city center but there are buses that get you to the metros. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel. The beds and pillows are terrible. Especially the pillows (lumpy and old), beds (thin mattresses?).

I liked how friendly and approachable the staff were. I have stayed at the hotel before and loved it but this time there were a couple of problems the lamp did not work and the bed was so uncomfortable I was in pain. It was either to hot and when turned down the heating it got so cold I was in even more pain with the cold. The blankets were really thin and I had to ask for extra pillows as there was only one even though there were two of us staying in the room.

Very nice hotel, with friendly staff. Location is poor for a city trip, far away from the city center (at least 30 minutes away from Museumplein, Leidseplein or Central Station).

Very quite, nice and clean room. The breakfast was very expensive and the hotel is not close to the city center although it was easy to take the frequent buses or trams just in 10 min of the hotel.

the rooms were very comfortable and the beds were amazing. public transport was very convenient to go to both downtown (even nightbuses go out there) and the airport. if you're sharing a room it would be more convenient if the bathroomdoors weren't made from glass and if you could close them properly.

Beautiful hotel, modern and clean. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, decent tv. Quick and easy public transport to both the city and the airport with bus stops within 5mins walk. (Although only two busses per hour into town). Taxi from Leidesplein to hotel was only 16 euro. Hotel has secure underground parking. The only thing I didnt like was the hotel cleaning staff ignored my 'Do Not Disturb' sign.

The stay in the hotel has been very comfortable and stress free. In quick words a very good hotel, great design and in reasonable prices. The only "downside" is the distance to the center. With the bus (the bus stop is right outside the hotel) is a 10-15min ride. Very good in overall.

Cheap and comfortable, it met all the expectations that I could have of a hotel that costs as little as it did for 4 star facilities. The sheets on our bed had yellow stains and holes in them, and it is a fair lick out of Amsterdam city centre...

We loved the hotel! Luxury and awesome design for a good price! We had the room with a queensizebed and it was a perfect vacation! We will definately come back one day. Only thing that is bad is that it is a bit away from the centrum, but it's close to the airport :)

The hotel was almost perfect. The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough, there were all the necessary furniture in the room. Good free Wi-Fi, and free tea and coffee and a kettle to make it. The location is also not a problem, cause the tram #2, which stop is not far away from the hotel, can get you to the center of a city in 20 minutes. Also it's very easy to get to the hotel from the airport - simply take the bus #195 from Plaza/NS in Schiphol to the busstop ibm. If not for a problem I'll describe further, I could say that it's the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam for a reasonable fare. The only, but the big problem we've encountered with was dreadfull cold in the rooms! There are no central heating in the rooms - only air conditioning system, so when you leave the room, the electricity turns off and it stops working. And even when it works, it swings only sliiiiiiiightly warm air, nothing more. We both catched a strong cold because of this. And stuff couldn't solve the problem, we were said, that this is the maximum temperature possible in the room. So I would say, that I'd recommend this hotel in the warm part of the year - between march and october approximately, but I totally won't recommend it during the cold part. You'd better seak for a hotel with a central heating system.
