The reception staff is definitely not the most kind I know! If they were faster and more polite then it was a 10/10 score. But for a short trip I would suggest this place in any case!
We loved the unique style of the rooms and the location which is for me the best in town.
I don't like the fact you have to pay extra for wi-fi, we have been travelling across Holland and this is the first hotel where it is not included. You could not turn the heating on and our room was cold.
Our room was spacious and unusually decorated. The breakfast was good and we also ate our dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. The staff are friendly and the hotel is easy to find. There was space to store our bicycles inside which was great.
Paid wifi connection
Arabic theme rooms, non european breakfast, location, friendly staff
No real hotel spaces/facilities: rooms above an ethnic decoration shop (reception) and a popular restaurant. The industrial elevator, which is not so suitable for persons (and does not reach the last floor). Some tired bits of the decoration.
Helpful staff. The restaurant, which serves great breakfast and is a popular spot of Rotterdam. The lively neighborhood, with many bars and restaurants and young people on the streets. Some interesting bits of the decoration. No problems regarding our dog.
Street noise from the neighbouring bars is a problem at night. Coffee refills at breakfast aren't free.
Lovely rooms, central location, friendly staff.
* That the toilet didn't had a door * There was no hair dryer * That the walls were really thin
The location is just perfect and you could have breakfast all day long.
Bed was unfortunately too soft and small even though they tried to help the situation its just the quality of the beds. My room decor on the South American floor was a bit OTT and a bit weird at times.
Location and transport links were great and the staff was very helpful particularly the young lady on reception. Breakfast was always huge and room always clean when we came back.
If they had free wifi in the rooms that would be the icing on the cake. But it's only 4 euros for 24 hrs so not a major issue.
The staff we so helpful and when we had a slight issue with a faulty radiator they immediately moved us to another room even though the radiator was to be fixed the next morning . I forgot to print off a document for my confenrece and they gladly did so for me. The decor is magical and tasteful! The food is awesome and breakfast a healthy feast. They also loan you bikes to take for a spin ! Loved the whole experience staying there, would highly recommend! The decor
It was so noisy in the restaurant. We couldn't have a decent conversation.
The noise outside kept me up all night. In addition, the bed was right by the window. Was damned to try to open the window (more noise) damned to keep it shut (very hot since radiator was right at the head of the bed). Stuffy smell in the room maybe due to the carpets.
Pretty color combinations throughout the hotel.
Quite noisy outside at night as everyone wants to go to the Witte de Wit straat for a great party. So bring your earplugs and shut the windows for a good nights rest.
Situated right in the middle of the heart of Rotterdam, with art galleries and cafes all around. Good food in a great environment. The hotel restaurant was flexible as to our breakfast wishes. Thanx for that! Great service from the hotel, friendly people.
On the whole I really liked the hotel - atmosphere, staff. location, breakfast BUT the only criticism was outside noise throughout the night. Perhaps rooms at the back less noisy?
paying for wifi, shower you have to keep in your hand, noise during the night from drunken people who visited the bars.
location very, very nice, ambiance, restaurant, breakfast, very friendly people
Really rather noisy due to being directly on such a popular street - combined with the thin windows I struggled to sleep well. Bring earplugs! Breakfast is not served until 8am, which is a bit too late if you need to leave early as we were intending to do. I'm glad we decided to delay our departure in order to have the breakfast though!!
If you don't like colour, this place will give you an instant migraine - I absolutely LOVED it! The pictures don't do it justice at all, it's exactly like walking into a Turkish Bazar. Breakfast was incredibly tasty and very filling. Located on what appears to be the main street for eating and drinking in the evening, and the bar in the hotel was full all evening!
Location restaurant and room decor. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely going back again.
Room 307 is extremely noisy at night until 4:30 a.m. can not fall in sleep at all. The double glass window is highly recommend! The smell inside elevator is not good..
The room is decorated very special, the bed is very comfortable, I feel the room 307 is quite suitable for young couples. The big wooden bathtub is very trendy! It located in the most popular street in Rotterdam heart.
Is a city location with attendant noise
funky well run good atmosphere
Room was cold. TV old & poor selection of channels (starting at 13). Very strange room decor. - including tat religious paintings & relics - not good for an Atheist so had to come down. Tiled steps into raised bath are treacherous. Major drainage problem by the kitchen area was awful & suggested eating in the restaurant was not wise - so I went elsewhere. Renamed The First & Last. I will be reverting to the easyHotel for my next visits. Not my cup of tea.
Location is good. Comfortable bed. Good staff on Reception.
Unbelievably noisy at the front of the building with cars and late night party-goers.
Price, location, friendly staff
Spring matress a bit oldish
Central location, charming turkish style, with carpets and coloured lamps, politeness of staff
When we were having breakfast , asked one more coffee, then had to pay extra charges. People are like to drink 2 or 3 coffee during breakfast time, it's not normal.
it is a little bit noisy in the morning. breakfast starts late. ( normally I am working for 1/2 an hour then.
It is really different. a great room. I love the Eastern look. It has their own style. I love the breakfast in the morning.
street noise during the night (verry verry loud) quite basic room for the price paid
wonderfull athmosphere huge breakfast (don't need lunch after that!) delicious meals in the restaurant (also huge!)
The elevator is awesome...
Good breakfast and kind waiters Near the Erasmusbrug
I stayed here 10 or so yeara ago and it didn't dissapoint then either! A great place to stay.
