Our hotel is situated on the attractive town square in the middle of the flower village of Aalsmeer. On the square in front of our hotel you'll find ample space for parking. The N201 road, which provides easy access to the highway, is only 218 yards away from our hotel. Large cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden, as well as the North Sea beach, are within 30 minutes driving distance from the hotel. Reasonably close to airport -- if you have a car Cheap This hotel is certainly not three star. While the room was reasonably large, there was * no elevator *a minuscule table on which a laptop just about fits; * no folding luggage rack on which to lay your suitcase; * no laundry bag; * no coat hook in the bath room on which to hang a bathrobe. Additionally, I had the misfortune of staying on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, there is a market on the square in front of the hotel, so that one has to park about three blocks away. There is then no provision for loading your luggage back in the car except to haul it on icy city streets. The receptionist apologizes for all this, but her frozen smile does not help the traveler. I would suggest that they close the hotel on Monday nights (or further discount the rate), rather than have the customer face such an inappropriate level of service. I will not go back.

Nice staff, free wifi, excellent restaurant attached (reservation advisable), parking available The rooms could do with a decorative update. Although a non smoking policy hotel, the room and especially the bathroom smelled of smoke.

The attached restaurant, which I believe was run by the hotel staff was excellant and superb value for money. The waiter and chef were very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. Sadly the check out experience was not so good. After trying to pay for the evening meal separately by both credit and debit card, due to the restaurant being separateky owned, the morning waiter then informed me he didnt think it set up for my cards, which were standard Visa, and asked me to go to the nearest bank to withdraw cash. He then was not aware I had paid in full for the accomodation at the time of booking and held me up so much I nearly missed my flight. These very un-proessional and poor policies and procedures meant the e-mails I had sent the previous evening recommending the hotel to my collegues was resent asking them to ignore my earlier e-mail.

Great to have restaurant in hotel. Close to airport without being a standard airport hotel. Free parking and internet. Breakfast included. Aalsmeer is nice little community. Had to pay cash because equipment was broken. Towels were marginal. Double room came with single beds. Spartan.

The hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stay prior to departing from Schiphol. Parking restrictions at the front of the hotel which required a parking disk after 9,00am. Foreign visitors would not have a parking disk in their possesion.

The hotel was simple but clean, relatively new, had nice furnishings, and the restaurant/pub looked solid; if I'd stayed there on the weekend I would have tried it out. For the price, I'd say the quality was certainly there, especially compared to other hotels closer to town (Amsterdam). It was a little out of the way if wanting to explore downtown Amsterdam, but the transit system wasn't too hard to figure out. The walls were on the thin side. The staff could have been friendlier. Breakfast was fairly simple fare, but it was complimentary.

Situated in a small village which was peaceful and laid back except for the drone of aircraft engines from nearby Schipol airport however one soon got used to those and they were never really intrusive. The food in the evening restaurant was very good - interesting, well created, cooked perfectly and well presented. When I arrived on a FRiday evening after a very long week I had to wait as a long line of backpackers checked in for an overnight stay. The check in was very slow and they were taking an endless time dealing with all the questions of directions, local interest, nearest curry house etc etc rather than moving it on. At the point of checking in I was informed that it was cash only as their Crad machine was not working which made things difficult and inconvenient. I requested a table in their restaurant for a meal as it was 9pm on a Friday to be told that it was fully booked and their was a take away Pizza place up the road and please come to the restaurant tomorrow. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, something which I consider an essential these days when travelling a lot.

This hotel is clean, staff are friendly and very helpfull, food is very good. Parking in this area is a problem, if you book in on a Tuesday there is no parking outside the hotel until after 6pm, but do get put off as you can buy a disc from the local shop for a few Euro`s, and park a few hundred metres away, for a short time,

The Family running the Hotel and Restaurant are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about sights around Aalsmeer and Amsterdam. They truly make a 3 Star Hotel have a 5 star feel. Don't mess with the cleaning lady !

The food in the restaurant was excellent, well presented, tasty and good value for money. I eat there 3 nights running which is unusual for me. My only criticism was the single beds, they were narrow I would have preferred a double bed.

Very pleasant small family run hotel on the edge of the town centre. Only used as an overnighter and I couldn't ask for more. Restaurant was good and very busy - but it was a weekend. I would use again if required. It might be only 7km from Schiphol but a taxi costs €25 each way. A bus service (number 198) is available but it is still a good walk from the nearest bus stop to the hotel if you have baggage. I did hear it was 1.5km but cannot confirm.
