A lot of the negative reviews on this site were slightly misleading. My room was adequately clean and the bed was fine. Compared to other hotels in Europe I've stayed it, this place was great. People also complained the staff was rude. While they weren't really friendly, they were usually fine once you started asking them questions. But think about it, they are dealing with drunk, high tourists all the time. |

Full morning breakfast was refreshing to help get you started in the morning. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions about places to see in the city. Great location between central and museum district. Steep spiral staircases can be tricky to navigate. Our room was small, but just "enough". |

Friendly staff, terrific neighborhood with access to museums, and tram lines. Would have liked a bigger bathroom, toilet seat had no lid, not much place to put anything, as a woman, that is a problem! |

Convenience and location, close to public transport Since last staying there many of the rooms have been cut in half. Our twin room was too small to be comfortable especially the bathroom. Do not think they should be charging 3% for using a credit card on a long stay like ours. They also wanted to charge 3% on a debit card. Not on. |

i really like the hotel room, because it was bigger than i thought. maybe i was lucky, i had two beds even though i was alone :p internet, the begining was ok, i could use normaly. but midnight, i couldnt use. i dont know why.. and tv :( no remote controller in the room :( |

I have stayed at the Acro 6 times now, however on my most recent visit i felt the rooms were not as clean as they have been before, with dirty marks on the walls - i feel some redecoration is required. I have no issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms/floors etc but the general decoration being poor meant I felt the room was not as clean as it could have been. |

The location was fantastic. We were 2 mom's w/5 teenage boys and it was easy for us to walk to everything. The #2 tram was close and takes you to several "high" points. Rijk Museum and van Gogh Museum are a block away and Hard Rock Cafe' and Leidensplein is a 5 minute walk. The rooms are small, but clean and comfy. The breakfast was enough to get one out the door. The front desk was helpful. |
