Friendly staff and excellent location
Very fine appartment, clean, cosy, nice outdoor terrace. Friendly people. Good restaurant at the hotel too.
Only one small remark: the stairs to the 1st floor were kinda steep (my wife has a bad knee).
Beautiful building and location could not be beat.
Courtyard restaurant - beautiful setting and good menu with friendly staff. Staff very helpful. Apartment is great for longer stays.
Lovely clean hotel. Excellent location only a few minutes walk for the Andre Rieu concert and all the shops/bars/river etc.
Location. Great beds. V quiet. Lovely eating areas.
Person at check in was not v friendly. Safe in the room did not work, side of toilet bowl was not clean. Like majority of maastricht hotels breakfast was not included in the already hefty nightly rate. Why is this. I have travelled a lot around Europe and have found this only in maastricht!!
Bathroom a bit outdated
Location really convenient for centre.
Limited breakfast, staff not particularly in evidence nor very friendly.
Location, friendliness of staff and cleanliness. Very nice breakfast.
Staff welcome and helpfulness Nice food Excellent central location Secure parking Cleanliness
location is close to vrijhof, better to go with no car, as maastricht centre is small, and has a lot of small alleys.
wifi is poor, if you stay out of the main building area, as the hotel has main building and couple apartments next door, no wifi signal out of the main building.
For me, this is a perfect hotel. It's not a generic chain that could be anywhere nor is it a charming-but-inconvenient local B&B. The location is perfect and you are close to but not bothered by plenty of cafes and nightlife. The price is really amazing when you consider what you get - a beautiful room, great service/cleanliness, a lovely breakfast area, and extreme convenience. I would send my own clients to this if it existed in my city!
I suppose it was a tricky to find the staff because they are a small business and have the (Michelin-starred!) restaurant to run. Nothing horrible, though. The breakfast isn't exactly newsworthy, but that may have been affected more but beers consumed the night before!
Nice clean and spacious bathroom
The room was quite warm (it was a warm day of 25degrees) and the only option to cool it was with a window. But you could not leave this window open when leaving the room, then it would be easy for someone outside to climb in the room.
The bathroom was too small, no space at all for our stuff. Personally, I don't like shower curtains in hotels, feels quite unhygienic. The breakfast was fair, could have been much better by some attention for detail. We think that for the price paid, there should have been fresh milk at least.
Location, the building of the hotel
Very warm, no air conditioning
location is near to the center breakfast nice room
in room on the front side you hear noise from the outside
The location is perfect, hotel is clean and the breakfast was good.
Very small room, uncomfortable small bed.
position in center of city
The breakfast was quit simpel parking was expensive
Comfortable bed, nice pillows. Good to have a bath, rather than just a shower. Friendly staff in restaurant.
Room a little small - but good bathroom.
Afwerking kamer en badkamer
Situated in the heart of the Old City, but within easy walking distance to the train station.
Very modern, large room, newly renovated, bathroom new and big, comfortable bed, could be 4-star
Nothing bad, found some dust under the table, that's it!
We had a great apartment with a balcony, so it was very comfortable. The restaurant was very pretty and the apartment was tasteful.
The man who ran the reception was so unwelcoming. I did not even get a Hello. He looked annoyed when I asked for the wifi password, and put out that he needed to show us to our room, which was in a different building. Meeting him did not give us a good first impression of Maastricht.
Great location. Monumental building. Nice small courtyard inside for dinner or a drink.
The location was excellent, the breakfast was very good and the hotel held a car parking space for us. Very helpful.
The room was very small and cramped. The two single beds pushed together were incredibly soft and very low to the ground. We did not get a good night's sleep.
