Excellent location. Quiet street, yet right beside the red light area. Very steep stairs! Not for the unfit, or those in high heels! |

I liked the location and the parrot. The staff were also friendly and helpful with safe deposit items and looking after our bags etc. There was some confusion about the rooms we'd actually boooked ( 1 x twin, 1 x triple and 1x quad). We ended up with a 4 and 5 bed room at the same cost. I also called in the morning and confirmed I'd pay for all the rooms with my credit card that guaranteed the rooms having taken cash from my friends. |

there was a pigeon living in the bathroom's air system! sometimes it used to "sing" a lot! there was also lots of "couple memorials" written in the walls of the room. everybody leaves their signatures there... |

The hotel staff were very nice and did what they could. Hotel Ben is only for hardcore broke travelers or for a couple of stoned friends traveling in Amsterdam. Do not go to the Hotel Ben if you can help it. It will be cheap, but you will be miserable. Do not go if you are married. Do not go with your girlfriend. |

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is AMAZING. You walk out of the hotel and are in the middle of EVERYTHING! Always our number one pick when staying in Amsterdam. For the money you can't beat it. The talking bird COCO is always a hit. The staff was working on the hotel outside of our room, which created an unwelcome wakeup call. The stairs are a bit wild but most hotels in Amsterdam will have crazy stairs. |

The Hotel staff were always friendly and alwasys happy to help. I didnt like the fact that we had to change rooms after the first night. We had booked far in advance and did not expect that the hotel would move us after the first night. |

excellent location and the best price in town for the double rooms (in the days of our visit) the hotel is very reluctant to accept credit cards. first call for cash, saying that the terminal is not working and not know when to repair, then, when explaining that the credit card and cash on it is prohibited, it turns out that you can pay the card, but at 5 euros more than the price of booking to booking. |

Centrally-located, in the heart of Amsterdam, close to Damrak street, Madame Tassaud Museum, the red right street. Very friendly staff. Small rooms. No lift, narrow and high stairs. |

The wireless Internet access is really extremely expensive - I have to use 3G mobile instead. The room is very very small, and sounds from other rooms hear wery well. If you wish to see TV - you need a deposit of 50EUR, deposit for keys is 10EUR and so on. Showder is almost unusable, toilet is situated in the way you can't sit on it normally. It seems like personal is very very greedy. |
