Clean, close to city center, fantastic breakfast, very kind and helpful owner.

No parking included (and ver expensive nearby - at least 36 euro per night or 5 euro per hour), small rooms (but this is expected on a boat hotel).

Staff - extremely friendly and polite. Loction - 5 min away from center of Amsterdam. Breakfast and food - no real time limitations, flexible. Being on the boat - unusual in itself.

A bit too crampy, but who seats in the hotel when Amsterdam city center is minutes away?

It was my first visit to Amsterdam. The boat is next to the centrall station (10 minutes walking) in a really quiet dock! We were living at 4:00 in the morning and they made us an early breakfast.

They never answer to their e-mails and this can be a problem if you forget any of your stuff while you are gone...

Friendly and helpful staff, free tea and coffee, nice breakfasts, location very convenient as close to bus stop and central station, free luggage storage, relatively quiet and personal.

The beds were very narrow but that is to be expected on a boat. Not suitable for travellers with mobility problems.

Great location near the citycenter. 5-7 min walking to RLD and other attractions. Very nice breakfast cooked personally by captain! And of course a unique atmosphere of thr boat! Free wi-fi is available. Actually it's not a hotelboat, it's a real boat! So if you are looking for a Marriott-comfort, you'd beteer choose another hotel to stay. But if you are romantic traveller who wants to feel the atmosphere of Amsterdam on your fingertips - it's the best place!

A little bit wet but it's a boat!

Hotelboat Allure was wonderful! The staff was very kind and helpful, and also very accommodating. The location of the boat was nice, only about a 10 minute walk from the Central Station. It was a little trek to the museumplein, but you get to walk through other nice areas, so it was not bad at all. Also, breakfast was very nice in the morning.

The cabins were a little bit small and the beds were a little uncomfortable, but it's a boat, so they really couldn't be much better.

The Hotelboat Allure had character about it - you can stay in a hotel in any country, but you can not stay on a Boat everywhere. It had a lovely cosy feel too, the rooms were what you would expect for a cabin but they were cosy. The breakfast were delicious - varied choices on the two mornings we were there and items were replenished throughout. Could have stayed longer. Will return to Amsterdam and the Hotelboat Allure without a doubt.

The only thing that we all felt would improve the facilities would be a drinks station where you were able to make yourself a hot drink on returning to the boat after an evening out.

Poor instructions for finding it. It is in the water and not on a street. There are dozens of similar boats in the area.

For something a bit different this is an interesting option. Basic facilities but convenient, friendly and clean.

Boss is very nice and kind, it was a big presure to talk and communicate. On the other side, not easy to really define the right destination only based on the address, even the real boat-hotel is actually just 10-15 mins away from the center station, especially for those 1st-time visitor. Anyway, a very warm and nice boat hotel, recommended.

Don't take the rooms 1 and 2, they are positioned under the entrance stairs and you hear every step of every person that passes - no silence at all. The rooms are very little, keep in mind that it's a boat.

We really liked to stay at Allure. The location is great and the boat is clean. The staff is friendly and very nice. They serve a good breakfast every morning and free coffe and tea the whole day long. It is very positive that you have access to wi-fi on the boat and it is free of charge. The rooms are small, but it is great having a private toilet and shower in the room.

An amateurish operation that is more a hostel than a hotel. Notably overpriced. Although requiring a credit card to secure on-line reservations, accepts only cash for actual payment--creating potential problems for international travelers. The listed address did not show up on internet mapping services, as it is a mooring. Directions were not provided on the booking.com site, and the boat was difficult to find-- especially after dark. I stopped in at a nearby hotel to ask for directions, where the desk person said that Allure customers stop in regularly for help in finding the boat. As I was on foot, carrying and pulling luggage from the Centraal Station, it was not a pleasant experience having to find my way. When I checked in, the proprietor had not bothered to print out an up to date list of bookings and my reservation was not on the list. The proprietor pointed out that was a safe in my room, which turned out to be already closed and locked. There were not no towels in my room. The proprietor At the required check-out time, the proprietor was nowhere to be found. For 93 Euros a night, I would expect at least a decent level of professionalism, but hotel boat is simply not a professionally run operation. That can cause problems for guests. In particular, if you are not familiar with Amsterdam, I do not recommend staying here.

A decent and clean hotel on a boat that's located quite close to Central Station (10 minutes or so). Rooms are smaller than they appear on the website, but are adequate and comfortable enough. The breakfast is terrific with warmed up rolls, cheese and meats along with freshly-squeezed orange juice and strong coffee. Be sure to request rooms higher than numbers 1 and 2 as those are located directly below the point where people enter the boat itself (which can be very noisy indeed!).

Die Unterkunft ist originell, einfach gehalten und sehr zweckmässig. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilft einem bei allem weiter. Das Schiff liegt halt nicht mitten in der Stadt und man erst ein bisschen zu Fuss gehen, aber auch das ist machbar.

El capitan muy amable. Desayuno incluido. Cerca del centro y de la estacion.

Camarote un poco pequeño, pero nada malo.

De locatie is bijzonder goed: dichtbij centraal station en centrum stad. De boot ligt aangemeerd in het oosterdok. Logeren op een boot heeft echt charme: een beetje deining, bepaalde geluiden, de wind ... Heel goed ontbijt, vriendelijk en dienstvaardig personeel. Propere kajuitkamer.

Het personeel spreekt amper Nederlands.
