Hotel Restaurant de Pauwenhof  

We had a super stay at the Pauwenhof and would recommened the hotel to our family and friends. The staff in particular were very friendly and welcoming.

I have visited Maastricht many times, passed the Pauwenhof and always wanted to stay there. So I booked this time.The building, the entrance, the foyer and the dining room are superb and beautiful. I was a little disappointed that my room, although very comfortable with all amenities, was a little 'ordinary' . The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had in a Dutch hotel (The nearest to being worth 16Euros!) I feel that internet /wi-fi should now be inclusive in all hotels, and was a little irritated that I had to pay (5.95 Euros for 50 minutes) All in all I enjoyed my 2 nights' stay.

Wi-fi extra cost. Rooms a bit dull, compared to the ground floor.

Good location, reasonable service, eccentric decoration on the ground floor, great public rooms, best breakfast I have had in a hotel for a long time, comfortable rooms, enjoyed the sloping floors on the landings around the staircase, car park was very useful and secure

Lift was small and slow (glad that there was a lift !), there was limited space to hang bath towels to dry, so the towels get taken away after a single use, furniture will need updating soon, tv is not flat screen yet....but it worked fine.

Car park 16 e per day quite expensive,for this rate the breakfast should have been included,Wireless Internet Hotspot is available with charge.

Hotel is a gem on the old street, a beautiful old hotel building. A good central location. Nice to be able to walk to/around the old town in the evening.

Did not realize the traffic & streets were so difficult. Very hard to drive and park in Maastricht. Once at the hotel it is ok, but we would not stay in downtown again.

The location is great, the room size good and extra points for proper coffee machine in the room.

Common areas looked quite run down and it is absurd not to have double windows if the hotel is facing a busy street. We were on the 3rd floor and we first thought the window was wide open with all the noise, but unfortunately it was not and during the night we had to keep the fan out to drown out most of it. Also, the 3 pillows in the room was very hard. Why not have different kinds of pillows in the room so that people can choose?

Nice house and decoration.

Bathroom could have been fixed. Toilet seat was not properly screwed in but was left like this. Toilet paper was not filled in regularly. Difficult to have towels hanging to dry.

Hewt hotel is uitstekend gelegen, midden in de stad, rustig met heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Zeer gastvrij onthaal. Mooie kamers met nespresso apparaat. Ontspannen sfeer en perfecte lokatie. Kom hier zeker terug en raad iedereen dit hotel aan.

Zeer centraal gelegen nabij de Markt en het Vrijthof. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en zeer behulpzaam personeel. Eigen, afgesloten parkeerplaats. Wij waren op doorreis naar de Ardennen en hadden een perfecte tussenstop in Maastricht. Kortom, een aanrader.
