Sandton Chateau De Raay    

Check in easy and english speaking, although you have to go around the entire building to get to the front of the hotel. Very large rooms with large bathroom and bath/shower combo. Beds were very big, comfortable and fluffy pillows. Wifi was fast. Parking was free. easy to get to using gps. Pretty country farm setting. Building looks old on outside but very modern on the inside. Breakfast was awesome. Everything was tasty with lots of selection.

Restaurant was very good although presentation seemed to be more important that the taste of the dish with some of the plates we ordered. Came in the spring hope you like asparagus as I believe it was in season and was in just about every dinner dish selection.

Resturant staff were not very helpfull at all, meal was disappointing also when complained nothing was done.

The warmth and friendliness of all the staff, the superb food and the location.

Good Location; good parking; room clean and spacious with good storage space and adequate coat hangers. The 'safe' was situated too high up for most people who are not as tall as the Dutch! Absolutely perfect for our needs and the top quality evening meal was a bonus

Very friendly and helpful staff. The Chateau is an oasis. In a noisy and busy world you can get away from it all and relax there among the wildlife and quiet woodlands in an environment that is high quality and timeless. Cuisine, on this occasion, was alfresco and - as always - excellent.

Beautiful design in an old castle hotel. Nice restaurant, good food.Will recommend to all our friends!

Most convenient for the Floriade at Venlo. That is why we chose it. Merely for convenience and literally only had dinner, bed and breakfast for the duration of our stay (one night only). Food was good as was the dining room and service of staff. Room comfortable, bathroom lacked towel rails,

Our criticism is that the bed was very, very soft.

The menu in the restaurant too much Aspargus. Not Enough Bar Snacks and Light Bites if a small snack is required. Hot Breakfast not brilliant and no toast.

Restaurant: - erg eenzijdige kaart voornamelijk alleen maar vis en asperges zowel bij voor- als in hoofdgerecht - is ook behoorlijk prijzig

Het ontbijt was uitstekend en de kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien.

Goede bedden mooie badkamer met 's avonds een riool lucht.

Nouvelle Cuisine, Hoofdgerecht een beetje te duur voor een beetje eten. Dessert nouvelle cuisine was een lachertje voor € 9,00. Tiramisu, maar het leek nergens naar.Het verhaal erachter,de ingrediënten waren verdeeld op het bord. Dus een lik chocoladepasta op je bord en een prutje recht en links op je bord. Ik heb zelfs mijn leesbril op moeten zetten op het te vinden. 'S nachts stank van het riool op de kamen (hoofdpijn)

Prachtig kasteel, mooie omgeving. Ruime kamer met prachtige badkamer. Ontbijt was prima. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Jammer dat de kamer zo gehorig is, ook vanaf de gang kon je alles horen.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt en mooie, rustige ambiance, maar zeker niet suf. Moderne uitstraling. Fijne ruime kamer.

Enige minpuntje was dat er geen shampoo op de badkamer was.

Douche in ligbad is niet comfortabel. TV is outdated

- Mogelijkheden om TV te kijken en om te werken beperkt => kleine en oude TV en klein bureautje weggemoffeld in een hoek van de kamer - Geen mogelijkheid om VPN verbinding tot stand te brengen via het wireless netwerk van het hotel

Goede ontvangst. Zeer aangename en ontspannende omgeving. Goed ontbijt en restaurant. Mooie kamer met luxueuse badkamer. Zeer aan te raden.

Het bed was voor ons te zacht en het twee-persoons bed dat uit twee delen bestond moest af en toe weer tegen elkaar aan geschoven worden.

Lage und Umgebung sehr schön, ebenso die Zimmer und das Badezimmer der Wintergarten ist wunderschön, das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam, das Restaurant edel und lecker

die Zimmer sind ziemlich hellhörig

Het enige wat wij zouden afschaffen zijn de thermoskannen met koffie bij het ontbijt. Niet drinkbaar, hoort niet bij de kwakteit die ze verder uitstralen! Meeuwis de Vries Verder geweldig.

Klantvriendelijkheid en uitstekend restaurant

Een verrassende omgeving. De Wintertuin is heel bijzonder en de afwisseling in hotelkamers geeft een extra dimensie. De keuken is werkelijk fantastisch, beperkte, maar vriendelijk geprijsde wijnkaart met voldoende keuze uit mooie wijnen.

De kamers zijn minimalistisch uitgevoerd en het zitmeubilair is aan vervanging toe. Wel goede sfeerverlichting in de kamers.

belle chambre bien équipée, et très propre, literie de qualité, excellente cuisine.

Bruit de voitures au loin, gâche un peu le romantisme de l'endroit
